i have two beardies, they are very well cared for in a beautiful vivarium. both beardies are the same age however the one is growing big very fast but the other has barely grown at all. it's getting to the stage where i am worried that the large one (belle) may eat the little one (puff). both beardies live in exactly the same circumstances and seem lively and happy but why is puff not growing like his buddy belle? previosuly i thought that puff may be intimidated by belle but they cuddle and greet each other regularly - if anything the little one is the boss of the vivarium! any suggestions?

I am trying to find out a species of snake I found in Roberts mountain in Nevada near Eureka. It looked like a western rattlesnake but it didn't have a rattle and the eyes were not elliptical. Please cite your references. Thanks so much

I recently adopted 2 1'' inch red eared sliders. I need a COMPLETE list of everything to take care of them. Also there just hatched. If you could also tell me where to get them food, what to feed them and where to get cheap terrariums/ free samples. Anything free or cheap is appreciated.

I need major help, so be prepared for a lot of questions! :]] My neighbors recently found 3 wild land turtles crossing a road, ones about 1-2" in diameter, the other is about 4", the other is about 5-6" probably. I have tried to convince them to bring them back to the wild, but they wont. They asked for my help in caring for them, I am to make a list on EVERYTHING they need. Well now me and and 2 of my friends are making a binder about the reasons why they shouldn't keep them, how much it would all cost, how to care for turtles, and other choices. They are currenlty in a 20 gallon tall w/ newspaper and a bowl of water. I feel so bad for the poor things, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, isn't there a law about taking animals out of the wild? If so, how to I find info on it?
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!!! :}

My Turtle is about the size of my hand. Wich is about the size of a school calculater that the students work with. And i've tried giving it fruit, lettuce, and hot dogs, but the turtle will not eat it.
I have an aquarium that it lives in with half of it land and the other half water. I set the food in the water and on the land, but the turtle seems to not see it.

ANY IDEAS ON WHAT TO FEED THIS TURTLE! BESIDES THINGS THAT YOU BUY AT A PET STORE. LIKE THINGS INSIDE YOUR HOUSE??

OR ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO TAKE CARE OF A SNAPPING TURTLE??

Its not eating and when I got it it was just in a plastic container with stuff from the lake they probably kidnapped it from. Im probably going to return it to the lake them buy a baby turtle that was raised in captivity. Until then how do I get it to eat? Ive tried feeding it worms lettuce and turtle food from the pet store. It just ignores it and goes back to scraping at the sides of the container its in. (I got a new one and made it look like an actual habitat ^_^ ) Is it just not hungry or do I have to worry about it dying before I can take it back to the lake?
