my lil tortoise seems like he keeps gettin bubbles from his nose, like lil ones when he breathe and they r too tiny and then they burst , as if he has the flu or something but i dnno what it is ! should i worry ? what could it be ?help . thanks

I just got a new box turtle. He seems bored sometimes. I would like to let him roam a small caged-in area outside for maybe a few hours on nice, sunny days...this is ok right?

ok i have 2 red eared sliders and i have had them since the christmas before last christmas and they are both 2 years old and very small. will they breed and have baby eggs(one is a girl and one is a boy) and if so when?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

The turtle will be about 4 inches in diameter. and the water will be filled a little more than half of the tank's height. thanks

My red eared sliders has had this white spot on it's shell. What is it? And they have began to form black lines in between its scutes. Could this be dangerous? Or is it normal? Also, one of the turtles shell is becoming lighter and lighter and the other darker and darker...The eyes also look a bit puffy...What should I do???? One more thing, the scutes look as if they are sbout to fall off.

I recently noticed little worms in my turtle tank since i have a microscope i decided to examine those worms they turned out to be Sludge worms.
How can i get rid of those worms and will they hurt my turtle?

ok we have a baby snake and people say its a python but we are not sure and we need facts and if you think u know what it is till us and we will send a pic soon and here are some facts we learn about the snake just watching it.
. creek water
. black and white checkered markings
. eats insects and small fish right now since its a baby
. smart won't eat dead items
. feels weird

I bought him yesterday and he has not eaten any of the reptile sticks or lettuce i present him with. I split the stick in half and he put it in his mouth then let it out. The lettuce he did the same thing. He has been in the same tank i got him in at the store. What should i do?

Where my husband works the snapping turtles will lie their eggs in the piles of dirt or rocks. my husband would load them into a dump truck. well now he looks out for them and brings them home. we hatch them and when they are big enough we take them back to his work and let them go by the river. this year i met someone that cares for them till they are big enough to take care if them self. right now they are so tiny. Today when i came home from work i looked in on them. and sure enough we have our first baby. but the umbilcal cord is still on it. and i dont remember if we just left it or what. can someone please help me.

I am not liking leaving the heat lamp on at night I have heard bad things about the under tank heating pads, I am trying to figure out maybe other ways to keep her warm with out the light, but I am afraid of hurting her. I have been told that these malfunction alot and end up heating the snake to much. Just wondering other peoples thoughts about this.

I just got my first snake and she just ate her first meal. I have looked online but am not sure how long to wait before handeling her. She is only 2 months old. I have had her for almost a day and a half and was instructed to feed her today since she has not eaten for one week. She took the food very fast with in 15 mintues she was basically done. How long should I wait to hold her?
