I have a desert tortoise and I live at the beach, so at night when it is cooler I put her in her cage in the garage, but during the day she is outside in her "turtle run" (use to be a dog run) with her house, food, etc. It is big so she had grass to eat, and bark to walk on.

Yes,it would be good for him to get the natural sunlight ,and you could throw some worms in there for him to catch and put a shallow water pan for him to soak in.Just make sure he can't climb over or dig out of it. Mine live outdoors all summer, day and night in a 6 by 10 foot pen.

Yes and no.
No- turtles do not like change, and moving them between two places bothers them and can cause stress. Their main habitat should be nice enough to not have to do this.
Yes- it is good for them to have the sort of sunlight, food, and room an outside enclosure can offer. A full-time outdoor habitat would be best.

Find and dandy just make sure it's in a safe enclosure and can't escape. Also make sure your turtle has water.

Sure it would be OK. They are outdoor creatures anyway, and he would love it. Just watch him so he doesn't get lost.
But he is slow and not to hard to keep up with.
