anyone have ideas on breeds????

any ideas on breeds? under three inches would be good for me, yet i know they are illegal in the united states.still, any ideas?

The smallest, commonly found, easy to care for turtles are all about 4-6" as adults. They include:
- Mud and Musk Turtles
- many Painted Turtles
- Reeves Turtle
- Eastern Box Turtle (a land turtle)

Russian Tortoises stay small
They are also vegetarians.

Chinese Box Turtles also stay small.
They need to eat meat, like worms, feeder fish, and snails, if that bothers you, stick with the Russian Tortoises.
