Unless your house is really cold inside.. a day or two proabably... maybe more.. but I wouldnt push it! I know ours has gone a day without heatlamps.. BUT let me tell you... U can also use a 100-150 watt light bulb! You dont need the special kind... our vet said that! But you DO need his UV lights still!

They can probably og a while with lower heat, as long as it stays above 65 ambient it'll be ok. Cut back the feeding a lot until you get a new bulb, they need the heat souce to properly digest being a cold blooded animal.

Go to wal-mart or home depot and look for some 75 or 100 watt halogen light, with proper distance they'll be just what ya need.

I'm not sure, but probably not too long, I have a tortoise, and she NEEDS heat. So go to the pet store right away and get a new bulb, or lamp (whatever is needed.)
