We've got a nice big 90 gallon tank that we just love... with African cichlids... one is pretty big, the rest are smaller average goldfish size...

A couple of them bred... Not sure which ones.. but we have 4 babies in there (Sorry for the terminology, I know it's incorrect.... I don't know anything about fish)

The baby fish are getting a bit bigger now.. and coming out from their hiding spots more.. all the cichlids protect the babies.. it's cool to watch..

The question is... how many babies are we going to end up with... and are we going to have to get another tank etc.

I've noticed the big one quite often digs up a lot of the gravel along the bottom of one of her favourite hiding spots...so it's down the bare glass... Is she getting ready to have babies again... I don't know if this is the fish that had them in the first place...

How many fish could I potentially end up with? The babies in there now make 13.
Thanks

i have 10 zebra danios on my aquarium... and i want them healthy, upon reading alot of infos ive concluded that velvet disease is common to them and i dont want that to happen.. and at this site
http://www.aqualandpetsplus.com/Minnows,%20Danios.htm
it states that:
Velvet Prevention. Keep your danio water clean. Dirty water encourages the growth of velvet. This means light feedings and frequent partial water changes. Adding salt discourages velvet.
-- my problem now is i dont know which salt it is talking about, is it rock salt or iodized salt? or what? and how much salt do i put in it? and how do i put it, drop it directly or dilute first?

i have a 10 gallon tank with live plants and a driftwood...

would the salt affect them?
and how would i know that my salt application is good?
and most of all is salt really safe for the danios?

I have 2 little cory cats - I basically now just let them eat the flakes that fall to the bottom. (I give the tank an extra feeding in the dark before i go to bed when the other fish are sleeping to amke sure they fall to the bottom. I used to feed them sinking pellets but those things make a huge mess - are flakes sufficient for the cats?

I recently moved some fishes from one fish tank to another. The fishes don't move. All they do is lie on their stomachs on the tank bottom and breathe. Is there anything wrong with them?

My Betta refuses to eat fish food (dried worms, pellets), but he will gobble up chicken. This is the only food he will eat. Regular fish food will not be touched. Is chicken ok to feed him? Is this healthy for a Betta?

I need help with my Neon Tetras. I had 3 and about one week later 2 of them got sucked up my the filter. Should I get more, or more Goldfish? I didn't get Goldfish before because I thought they would die very soon. Should I get more Neon Tetras or Goldfish? My tank was meant for Goldfish so is that why my Tetras got sucked up?

When I got home from school today, I noticed that my betta made a bubble nest. After looking at my betta more carefully, I realized that his fins are falling apart as well. What does this mean? He seems to be acting normal.

and I just realized two are male and one is a female. I know this is the wrong ratio of male/female platies, but will they be okay? One of the males is a Mickey and the other two fish are Sunbursts. The Mickey chased the other male around for awhile and now the other male hides most of the time. The Mickey follows the female Sunburst around. Do you think the loner platy will be okay?

I know I can't put males together, but apparently males pick on females and females pick on females too. Can I put one male and one female together in a community tank (15gallons) without a problem? How about only females?
