will 4 guppy's, 2 neon tetra's, 1 honey gourami, 1 plecostomus and a male siamese fighter get along in the same tank?

the tank is small and holds about 5 litres, it has a heater, light and filtration board, is that to many fish for thus small tank?
if it is, what fish out of the list should i get and which ones shouldn't i get?

thanx

I have a dwarf puffer, and have had him for the past three weeks or so. The only thing he will eat are snails -- he snubs all the frozen and flake foods that I've offered. Now, supplying the snails isn't a problem, as my other tank is overrun with hundreds of them. But my question is: is a diet of only snails healthy for him? Or does he need other foods as well?

The water in my fish tank is evaporating really fast. I expect that when it is hot during the summer, but now that it has cooled down I cant help be worry why the water is evparoating so fast. My tank is covered the heater is just right and there are no leaks so what could it be?

I just got a 10 gallon it has been set up for 6 days now. I am open to a lot of different fish. Not brackish or saltwater because of the size of the tank. I dont want something that gets over 4-5". I want this tank to be compatible. I like tetras a lot and would love to have them i just cant decide. Also i want to have this tank planted and i have just regular aquarium gravel (i read about a substrate?) do i need to change anything? I will most likely put the fish in first then plant. I was thinking maybe bottem fish first then work up to top fish? Thanks. I heard corys were hardy and so as bottemfeeders maybe them since this is a new tank. I would probably get fish either this weekend or next weekend. After i get them i would wait about 2 weeks to get more. Just anything you think would look nice/decor wise/ gravel wise/ plantwise ya know? Thanks!

I've had him for 2 weeks. He won't eat any of his food-pellets, worm fishy food). I don't see that he's had a bowl movement. He just seems to be losing energy and color, so I'm worried...any advice?? P.S. He's only survived because the only food he'll eat is chicken, but I haven't fed him this lately since fish food is healthier (however, he won't touch the fish food even though that's the only food I give him).

I'm a bit tired of having bettas, though they are beautiful, they're such divas!

And NO goldfish. Little swimming poop machines.

I have a 1 gallon lighted aquarium with an airstone filter, and it stays around 73 degrees Fahrenheit. I would prefer something that just eats flakes or freeze dried worms. Any suggestions?

Oh, and being able to get multiple fish would be great!

Thanks so much for the help before with my betta!!
I did a 50% change, and added salt and more coppersafe to replace what I took out.

I have a couple more questions (sorry!)
I dont have a heater, do they make them small enough for a 2 gallon? And I live in South Texas and we turn the A/C up in the day so in the day his tank gets up to about 79-81 deg and at night it goes down to about 74. I was told this was fine for him...but does that mean I need to heat the water MORE to help cure the ich?

And I took out a decoration and scrubbed it and washed in in HOT water...should I put it back in his tank or boil it or throw it away or what? I dont want it to keep him sick.
Also, are his live plants (java moss, water wisteria and ribbon plant) ok or do I need to get rid of them and get him new ones when he is cured?

I kept him in a one gallon, lighted, filtered aquarium that was cleaned once a month. I fed him freeze dried worms nearly every day. His tank's stayed at a temperature between 70-75 degrees. I've kept him that way for about two years. Yesterday, he looked pale and wouldn't eat, and today I found him on the bottom of his tank, dead.

Anyone know what happened so I'll know what to do if another fish of mine does it?

We have a 100 gallon tank in the living room, and it has white crusty junk on the lid, and running down one spot on the front of the tank. Is it calcium?
I've tried plain hot water, vinegar & water, and windex on the front. While it's wet, it appears to be gone, but then as soon as it dries its back again.
How can I safely get rid of that stuff?

Im a new fish owner with a 10 gallon tank. I have a few questions hopefully someone can help me with. I have alot of fish, the guy in the store let me get them and i figured he knew what he was talking about but then i read that u were only supposed to have 10 one inch fish in a 10 gallon tank, i have 14 but they are really small like 1 inch and 4 of them are really tiny they are tetras but some are small mollies and i read they are going to get big. So next month im gonna buy another 10 gallon and split them. But my question is what all do i need to buy i see so much in the store by way of chemicals and things. So far i have tap water conditioner and accu clear and a pH testing thingy but its only for pH and not nitrates and things. Do i need anything more and my filter is something full of cotton. Is this ok or should i buy a better one. if so what kind?? website links would help. :) Money isnt really an option as my partner is willing to buy me anything so i dont get a cat lol

Ok, so, I asked a question just like I am going to ask, last night:

I did what the second answer told me to do, and, I deffently believe with her! Well, my goldfish was over fed, and, he was dead yesterday morning, though, he was alive after a few minutes! He was swiming on his side yesterday, but, luckly is now swimming normaly, but, with a somewhat kinda wierd. He usually swims with his head down, and his tail up. I would really like to know what is going on! I REALLY want him to live, but, I am not sure if that is going to happen. I just cleaned his bowl, but, I haven't given him any food yet. Should I? How much? Also, when I was cleaning his bowl, I noticed that he had a white, long piece of poop, with two brown things inside, kinda like the white part was see-through! What is this? WHOEVER ANSWERS ALL OF MY QUESTIONS, WILL GET 10 POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS!!!!

The fish's growth quite a bit and the lump in the chin looks like it has a rock or something lodged in its throat but it still eats and stuff.

My Betta, Monet, has Ich...Ive treated his water with Coppersafe, but it doesnt seem to be helping much.

What else can I do for him?
He's in a 2 gallon Hex tank, and I dont think I can break down his tank completely without putting him in my new tropical tank (that is empty right now) and infecting that tank and needing to break it down and start from scratch with it.

Ive heard of using aquarium salt, but I dont know how much to use or if it would be harmful to Monet. Any ideas?
