I am not sure what a 'Bay Tortoise' is- it does not appear during a Google search. Because the term 'tortoise' means different things to different people, I am not sure if you mean a land turtle, pond turtle, sea turtle, or what.

Each kind of turtle has completely different cares- but no turtle would like being in a glass jar- turtles like space to move around in a lot.

Also, no turtle would eat rice, bread, or biscuits. The right diet would depend on what kind of turtle it is.

You can find out what kind of turtle your REALLY have by posting photos of it at a photo-sharing site like Photobucket.com or by looking at the World of Turtles Photo Gallery at http://www.austinsturtlepage.com

Try asking this in the reptile section for more and better answers, but most types of vegetation should be fine. Feed a good variety. Stay away from foods that may swell in it's stomach, like rice, bread, and biscuits.

Wat's Bay tortoise??? If it's land tortoise like my Star Tortoise, then we can only feed them with veggie loh. Dun be too innovative and try 'funny' thing, It'll be much worst if your experiment goes wrong and upset their stomach, then you may need to spend a bomb to get it back to health!!

They do take small insect if they can catch them..

Cheers. Glad to know someone out there who have a tortoise too.
