I've raised a number of frog (and toad) species from eggs. So here goes:

1) This will depend on the species/size of the animal. If it's large, you can start with small or pinhead crickets. If it's tiny, you might need fruit flies. A good way to estimate what it might be able to eat is to use the distance between its eyes as a guide - you don't want anything larger than that space to start. Small crickets you can get in most pet stores (as reptile food), but you may need to special order pinheads. There are also companies online where you can buy them fairly cheaply and have them delivered to you. This may not so beneficial if you have to order a large volume and they either grow or die before you have a chance to feed. You can also order fruit flies (flightless) through pet stores. Even though they can't fly, them can climb extremely well, so you'll need to use a cover with a mesh size they can't get through. If your frog is an African dwarf, or African clawed frog, feed frozen bloodworms, mosquito larvae, or daphnia.

2) You can keep them together - just have a land area where the tadpoles can climb out of the water as they metamorphose.

3) Not needed. Unless the soil is sterilized first, the frogs are susceptible to a disease called red-leg (Aeromonas bacteria infection - this can be fatal). Use stacked rocks, sand, aquarium gravel, or moss. If your frog is an African dwarf, or African clawed frog, these are totally awuatic, and will spend all their time in water.

4) At night, no. During they day, they should be able to tell it's daytime. Just be careful that any light doesn't produce too much heat - you don't want their skin drying out - absorbing oxygen through moist skin is one way most frogs breathe.

1)Froglets as in tadpoles eat something at your pet stores called "frog bites". Mushy pellets that they are capable of eating. Frogs themselves eat crickets.
2)You can keep them together.
3)No, don't put dirt at the bottom. With your other taddys, keep water, but for your growing froglet, keep a branch/rock that isn't submerged in the water. So, when he's growing, he can safely climb up and go back in when he needs to.
4)Nah, no light is needed.
