What tankmates would be suitable for an oscar in a 70- 80 litre tank? I will be feeding it live food and i was hoping the other fish ate the same. Thankyou

Oscars get about a foot long (30 cms) and should not be kept in a tank less than 50 gallons (approximately 200 L). By keeping such a large fish in such a small tank, you would be stunting and killing it. Get it a MUCH larger tank, and then you can consider some tank mates like Botia Loaches (Yo-yo Loaches, Dwarf Chain Loaches, Angelicus Botia) and other active, quick, fish that will be able to escape the Oscar's mouth.

80 litres would be a 20g tank. for one oscar shoould be at least 50-55g. if you get a tankmate then they will fight over their territory. most of the time if an oscar did not grow up with another one then they will fight to the death, unless you have a large enough tank for them both to stake out their own portion.
