ive had an aquarium (freshwater) for a couple years now with no problems but in the past couple months ive had alot of green algae growing on the glass and substrate pebbles, i dont know why i have so much all of a sudden, i did change ythe lighting from regular flourescent to t5 lights with blue spectrum (not sure if ive expressed that properly but hopefully you know what im trying to describe) but my other two tanks are also having algae problems as well. could it be temperature? too much natural light?

I have had my Beta for about 2 years and have not had any problems with him. But a couple of days ago I noticed a small white patch by his eye. It looked like cotton. It's gone now, but his face is still sore looking. He has a 10 gallon tank that I change about once a month. Can anyone help?

I have a 30 gallon reef tank dedicated to only seahorses. There is purple coraline algae everywhere in the tank because there is live rock and corals. Ive noticed that the purple algae is starting to grow on my sea horses now. Some of their tails have little purple spots on them. Is this harmful to them?

I have a very pregnant guppy and she is having fry, but she is having them at a rate of 1 a day! I have never seen anything like this before. She has had 3 fry in 3 days. Yesterday I thought maybe I just wasn't seeing them and I pulled the tank apart, but today she had another one! Is this harmful to her? Is it normal? I haven't read about anything similar.

Some house pests sometimes enter my betta's bowl. When a fly or mosquito gets in my house they try to lay eggs in my betta's bowl and he eats them. Ants also get into the water sometims and he sometimes eats them. I read that in the wild, that those are the things bettas eat. But is a pet betta okay for that?
