Bettas are not generally aggressive and his reaction to your fake turtle would be entirely different than his reaction to another living fish. I doubt he would give the corys any hassle at all.

betta fish is territorial and hence is aggressive. Usually betta fish is reared alone. Cory is a shine and quiet fish on the contrary. So if you want to keep cory and betta together, it is better that you have a something in the tank where the cory can hide in.

He should be fine with the cory cats, maybe the turtle is bright and your Betta might see it as a treat or competition for breeding.

They should be fine. I have 3 corydora's with my Male Betta and my 2 female Betta's and they all get along. What size tank do you have him in? Most Betta's won't be overly aggressive if you give them plenty of space.

NO your betta is showing he wants to be alone...a good way to do it is put them in separate tanks where they can see each other to see how your betta will react...better safe than sorry...hope it helps.

dont try it, i know, my betas are sooo agressive, some more than others. try putting the cory cat in a serperate bowl and putting it next to the beta for a while to see what happens;

but i dont suggest it. unless hes lonely or depressed or somehting or the cory's really submissive idk
