She respects her fish a lot. Should she put it in a garbage? Should she flush it down the toilet? Or should she bury it in her backyard?

A family member had a fish in an aquarium. The fish died, however the tank has still not been cleaned with the water just sitting there. It's now going on months, I beleive the dead fish was removed but the water is still there. Other people in the house have now began to cough and think it may be related to the water. I know this is nasty, but I did a search and couldn't find anything on line. Thanks for any and all help.

How rare would a yellow female with a black wash (terminology?) be? Please only answer if you know what you're talking about. Thanks!

As far as her color goes, she is almost a goldenrod yellow, kinda brilliant, kinda subdued at the same time. She's very pretty.

I've had a Dragonfish (Violet Goby) in my tank for almost a month now and it seems to be doing well. Right off the bat I noticed it had a semi-opaque layer of skin that almost looked like velvet, but I decided it was nothing.

I've noticed this a few times before, but never thought anything of it. At night if I turn on a light and look at my Dragonfish, it is noticeably paler than during the day. It turns almost a pinkish white color and doesn't appear to be any kind of dead. Is this normal?

Thank you

I know they do it to breed, but my betta doesn't have a heater yet, and i read that they won't breed unless the temperature is warmer. So why do they make bubblenest when the condition isn't right for them to breed?

i have ammonia in tap water tried everything under the sun possible to remove it and decided it would be better to do the ro/di unit. i have 3 tanks.
1 10 gallon african cichlid
1 20 gallon male betta 7 neons
1 55 gallon 2 angelfish algae eater.
now i know that i have to use something to get my ph to where it needs to be and to make it stable again. im not sure what i need to use. if anyone can just list a few things i can use would be nice and also do i need to do anything to gh and kh.
i also know i have to use something to put stuff back into the water thats where r/o right by kent will come in. im just confused on ph kh and gh.
please no long explations that are confusing just product names to stable ph and get it where it needs to be will do, and what ever i need to do for kh and gh.

I am into crystals and find they bring me good luck, I have a small crystal I would like to put it in my tank to bring my fish luck. I know certain types of rocks put off chemicals and can change ph levels and such.

I have a 10 gallon aquarium that has been set up for over 6 months. It has a black moore, a chinese algae, and a weather loach. All my fish have been healthy. Today I came home and my black moore was dying. All his scales were gone and a few of his fins looked ragged. What would have caused this? Do you think he got in a fight?

I have a Platy in the breeder net and she seems to get very hyper and maybe even stressed out about being in there... is there anything I can do to make her more comfortable? She should have her babies in just a couple days and is looking very large... The "net" is actually a clear plastic rectangle (it has a grate in the bottom so that the babies can fall through) with slits on two of the four sides so that water can pass through and I do have a floating plant in there with her, but she seems to be troubled about being in a small space...

I want to start feeding my betta blood worms. Is it even a good idea? My fish seems to like them better than the food pellets.
