my goldfish look fine except one big white spot on her tail is it something to worry about what is it i am worried

its not ick guys its just one big white spot on her tail fin

It depends on what the spot looks like. If it's small and white it could be Ich - normally looks like small white spots on the body (worse on tails and fins) but I have seen it as just one spot. If this is the case - get an Ich medication from your local petstore. If it looks kind of like a little worm sticking out, it may be hookworm - get a parasite medication. If it looks like clear dirt hanging off of the tail, it may be a fungus. Otherwise, it could just be some other related parasite. Or, it could be part of your goldfish's colouring. Normally, sick fish will act sick by doing things they don't normally do.

Unless he was born with it my first guess would be Ick which pretty simple to treat. Look it up online and buy med at the pet store. Sometimes just a little sea salt even in fresh water will help all the fish.

Is it kind of a fuzzy looking spot, it could be ick. There is an over the counter medication for that but you must act quickly. It is usually in an eye dropper looking bottle; "QuICK Cure" is one type. Good luck:)

if it's been there for awhile then nothing to worry about,but if it starts to spread then you have a case of the ick.
get some ick meds from the pet store or wal-mart.

check with a pet store such as petsmart. they are very knowledgeable. It could be ick and it can be easily treated. good luck

You know that some fith are orange and white, or black and orange, its probably just developing a color(white and orange)
