Rams and dwarf cichlids (apistos) are considered peaceful community fish. Although, i know rams do sometimes fight with each other. Especially when they group into pairs. My 2 German Blue rams were chasing my other ram. But they didn't mess with my discus or guppies in the tank. If you have lots of room and hiding places, then you won't have to worry about that. Hope this helps.

rams are pretty easy with other fish but i would be careful depending on what barbs you have, but with most tetras i dont think its a problem, just remember rams need soft water to be happy
