I have a Platy in the breeder net and she seems to get very hyper and maybe even stressed out about being in there... is there anything I can do to make her more comfortable? She should have her babies in just a couple days and is looking very large... The "net" is actually a clear plastic rectangle (it has a grate in the bottom so that the babies can fall through) with slits on two of the four sides so that water can pass through and I do have a floating plant in there with her, but she seems to be troubled about being in a small space...

You're fish is probably a bit stressed about being in a breeder net. One thing you could do is keep the tank lights off, that will help a bit. It will also keep her from finding her babies quite as fast.

She should calm down after while. You may try keeping the area covered to prevent her from being disturbed by people walking by or faces popping up to the glass to look.

Try placing asome plastic plants around the box and under it. Also keep the tank lights off, that will help too

She'll get used to it.
She's probably in labor, have you checked the tank?
