I am into crystals and find they bring me good luck, I have a small crystal I would like to put it in my tank to bring my fish luck. I know certain types of rocks put off chemicals and can change ph levels and such.

Sure you can. Most rock is totally safe for an aquarium. Make sure it's not salt and then test it with a few drops of vinegar. If it fizzes it's not good for an aquarium, otherwise go right ahead.

If you're sure that it's a crystal and not some sort of mixed gem, then go ahead. I would recommend boiling it in water for 10 minutes before putting it in the tank to kill the bacteria on it.
