I am going to feed them to my betta and I have to get them before I can feed them to it.

Hun, there isn't a reason to worry about males and females and trying to breed since after 24 hours the shrimp themselves loose all neutritional value. Try getting brine shrimp eggs and hatching them on your own. This not only is much easier, but save you the headach of your male and female brine "Supplers" dieing in 52 hours. They aren't breeding pairs that last forever. Most die within a few days. Get the eggs and have at it. or buy the frozen, thaw in water and feed.
