The vet says the next step is a biopsy which costs a fortune. I've made an appointment for one but I'm hoping someone else knows what he has and can make a suggestion to help him. He doesn't scratch the area and the sores are spreading but along his back only.

Both are altered. When he is eating or playing with something and she wants it she growls and snapps at him. How can I stop them from this?

My parents haven't taken my dog to get her shots yet. But we're going tomorrow to take her to the vet or something to get checked up. She's about nine months already, and it's possible that she is pregnant, because I saw my dogs mating about two or three weeks ago. Is that bad if she hasn't had her shots yet? And people keep telling me to get her sprayed. What exactly is that?

was tested and was found to contain acetaminophen
I guess it was two samples sent in by someone. Canidae denies it but I am curious as to everyone thinks about it

Does it worry you to use Canidae. I have always found it to be a good food so this was the last thing I wanted to read

They leave him outside from about 7 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. everyday, but with a doghouse for shade and plenty of water available. They then bring him in the house and he only goes out 1 or 2 times before 10:00 to 'potty'. Is this okay?

We've tried every thing, even throwing him in the swiming pool, Sence he hates water.
._.
We're not cruel or nothing though, we love animals, we just don't like them doing their busness in our house.

I mention it because the reputable publication "Dogs in Canada" Annual breeders guide had a full page write up on it, and gave it a thumbs up for use on animals. I have used it, will continue to use it and it has NEVER been detrimental to any of my dogs coats. It is vegetable oil based, non-toxic, deodorant free and biodegradable. The same cannot be said of many products including Dawn that many push.

Okay. We have a acre of land with a fence and an invisible fence thing, also we wouldn't want a dog that had tons of energy. A dog that didn't need to be walked that much would be nice. Also a breed that doesn't have a lot of health problems, and that doesn't need any special daily care. Not a huge dog, but not to small. What breed would be good for us?

I am the same one that asked the question about whats the deal with people downing white boxers. I worked at a ER Vet Clinic for 2 years. I have done my research on white boxers and they are not more prone to anything than a regular boxer are. The only thing 2 things that are different is their color and they get sunburnt easier. They Do not have a shorter life span, They do not easily get cancer. My 2 babies will always get checked for everything and anything. My only question is why do ignorant people kill them and disapprove them. They are just like any other dog anyone will ever own.

This morning he accidently got and drank about 3/4-1.5 cups of coffee. He is now just laying down and he is shaking? He is only 17lbs and 2yrs old.

What should I do?
Will he be okay?
Should I take him to the vet ER tonight?

My girl friends parents have medium sized dog in their back yard and you can see its ribs through its back and it is loosing its fur. They say that it eats allot and I do believe that they feed it every day. Also, they said they brought it to the vet twice who has de-wormed it twice and says that the dog is just not absorbing its food so he suggested that the dog eat yogurt with live cultures-I find it hard to believe that this is all the vet had to say but that’s all I have to go by. If anyone has an idea of what can be done for this dog please help me with this because it breaks my heart and I am willing to do anything to make this dog better.

The poor thing is scared to poo now. The vet doesn't know what is wrong with her. There is nothing stuck in her intestinal tract and only seems to hurt right at the point of exit. Oily food helps, but not 100% of the time and I seem to need to give her more and more oil for it to help. The vet is trying her on anti inflamatories at the moment but it isn't helping yet. The vet has squeezed her anal glands a couple of times, and it doesn't hurt her so it doesn't appear to be those.

My dog is an avid chewer, even though he is only 20 lbs. He quickly chews up any toy we give him, even durable Nylabones. What is the best durable chewing toy (but fairly inexpensive considering he goes through them so quickly) to give him?

She is a goldendoodle. Her eyes look a little red. Is she going to be alright? Will that hurt her? She is also very quiet and calm. I would expect her to be very lively. She also haan't gone potty. She went twice today from 1:00. Is this normal?
