I have seen a lot of questions in here that many of the "Top Contributors" answer truthfully. Then the Asker insults them and blocks them! Ummm.... I thought people would want to know the answers, or why ask the question? Is it just because these people only want answers from people who agree with them? What gives?

I have a Dog who is about 1 years old. My husband and i feel that we are ready t have a baby. but i am worried about a babie around the dog. He seems to get jealous even if my husband kisses me or if we pet the cat instead of him. i don't want to take the chance of having him hurt a baby. Are there anyways to make it so he is less jealous?

I am trying to teach him to go outside, and if he really really has to go inside then to use the disposable potty mats I bought(for like if i go out or when we are sleeping.) I am considering getting a crate, but that only works for when I am gone. He still uses the floor, when I am here. He had no training what-so-ever!! I never had a dog before so I need help! I dont want to confuse him or yell at him or anything, but he needs to learn.

My older sister lives with her husband in a two-story house. She is the owner of a little dog named Beau. He is half-yorkie and half-miniature pinscher. She does not treat this dog well. She doesnt abuse him, he gets food and water, but no love and attention. No grooming, no walks, she doesnt play with him..nothing. What I hate most about the way she "cares" for him is that she leaves him in the garage for longer than 8 hours. Its either really hot or really cold in there. Im afraid the dog is gonna die of a heat stroke, and it breaks my heart to see Beau treated that way. He is not loved in this home, he is only an accessory to it. I wanna take him away without her knowing and put him in a better home or take him to the pound where I KNOW someone will pick him up quickly. I want him to have a better life.

I have a 1 1/2 year old Pug and 2 cats. Well, my Pug likes to pee on my furniture and I let him do it for too long and I am having a rough time breaking him of it, so about a month ago I went & bought an indoor kennel, it's just big enough for him to be able to turn around & lay down and stuff (I was told not to get a kennel that's 2 big or they will use the bathroom in it) So now every time I leave I put him in it w/ a pillow and a toy or rawhide & I leave the TV He gives me the saddest look right before I leave every time, lol, and it makes me feel so bad. Well, I work from 8-4 and sometimes I'm able to go home @ lunch to let him out for a little bit, but sometimes he's in the cage the whole time. Can this actually be bad for him? Not only do I feel bad doing this, but I didn't know if this is actually unhealthy in any way? I just don't have a choice because he will pee on things when I'm not home. But trust me, I give him TONS of attention when I get home...Am I concerned for no rea

I have been advised that the "first litter" from a female dog will produce the best puppies (most trainable, best tempermant, etc.). The more litters she has, apparently the quality of the puppies diminishes. I have been advised that this is just as if not more important than the quality of the parents.

Thoughts? This makes no sense to me, either genetically or common sense wise. Nonetheless, they are insistent.

I started my boston terrier on Frontline for fleas two months ago. By the second dosage, I am still seeing a few fleas on him. My roomate has a kitten and she is not on Frontline or anything for fleas. My dog goes outside, but her cat stays inside. Ive seen a few on her once in a while. Is he getting them from her, or is he bringing them in from outside and if he is, does it take time for the fleas to bite and get the Frontline into their systems and die? Im really annoyed because I payed all this money to prevent this from happening. I really feel like calling and complaining about this to Frontline and demand my money back. What should I do?

I put an ad on petfinders.com about my puppies for sale, and I have gotten all mail from people from different countries and a few from the states. Can you believe these people wanting a puppy to be shipped to them, then they want my information to send me a cashiers check, Who can I report them too? Then they gave me a fake e-mail address called, SKYPETS@yahoo.com. where they say will ship them from, I just hope other people don't fall for this, they are terrible. Terrible how people are.........

This last Saturday we went to a canine store, and she fell in love with a small, toy Chihuahua by the name of Turbo. My Poodle had a peeing accident. I wonder if it's caused cause of the new friend? What's your best advice to all dog lovers and experts out there for me? Thanks. My poodle loves playing with the Chihuahua and we both watch while they are out there playing.

Please only answer this if your 100% serious and sincere! No smart answers PLEASE! I"m starting to get worried, and before I go on, yes, I'm going to take her to the vets, I just wanted some advice from anyone who might have already gone through this, or has experience. I have a 7 pound MaltiPoo and Jazzy is a 3 1/2 pound Mini Pinscher. Shes 8 months old. When she went into heat, I had to keep them away from each other COMPLETELY . He drove us crazy trying to always get to her! BUT, on 2 occasions, he was with my daughter, I wasn't home, he got to her and "connected". Well, its been about a month since she stopped bleeding. All the sudden her nipples are big, she goes outside to pee ALOT! sleeps alot, and stomach is bigger. Is she in danger because my MaltiPoo is so much bigger than her? and because its her first heat? My vet appont. is Monday, but if you have experience in my little problem, please advise me! I"m really worried I just adopted her 2 wks before she went into heat
