I have seen a lot of questions in here that many of the "Top Contributors" answer truthfully. Then the Asker insults them and blocks them! Ummm.... I thought people would want to know the answers, or why ask the question? Is it just because these people only want answers from people who agree with them? What gives?

Have you noticed, most of the people who answered you are the ones who have been told they are rude!!! Gotta love it!
The people who block, insult and report people didn't answer your question! They must be too afraid!

I see it all the time. Even though I am pretty blunt here, on other forums I tend to be "the nice one". But no matter how gently you phrase it, how diplomatic you try to be, if you suggest to someone that maybe they're going about things in the wrong way, more often than not they fly off the handle and accuse you of being the devil incarnate, a stuck up snob, rude, mean, a hypocrite etc. And then do whatever they were going to do anyways.

They want validation for what they are doing, rather than hear that it's wrong and irresponsible. If you tell them how it is, they just block you so they don't have to listen to you or your wisdom. It's sad. When I think of the people here who are intentionally breeding mutts, don't spay/neuter then have "an accidental" breeding, make breeding decisions based on their emotional connections to their dogs... ugh, it's so, so sad. Why can't they just enjoy their dog and leave it at that. If they want another, go get one. They seem to think that by breeding their own, they will save money on purchasing... until they gotta pay for that emergency c-section.

It's the same reason why insecure girls ask "Am I fat?" It isn't because they want a truthful answer, they just want to hear "NO! Of course your not fat, in fact you're so NOT fat that you need to gain weight!" And the same goes for here. They don't want the truth, they want someone to tell them that they aren't a bad pet owner, they want to hear that you don't need to take the pet to the vet, they just want validation, not truth. So when they hear the truth, they get all pissed off and throw a temper tantrum and block and report. Childish.

I've seen most of the people in here who actually know what they are talking about and giving good advice get criticized and banned. A lot of people just come in here, having a good idea that whatever they're asking or doing is wrong.... they just want other people to justify what they're doing and tell them that it's okay....... and there are enough people in here who will do just that. I only pay attention to certain people's answers and ignore the rest. Fortunately, there are people in here who I believe and trust what they're saying.

as good old Jack Nicholson once said in a movie "You can't handle the truth!". they only want to hear what they want to hear and not what other people have to say when they disagree. of course people don't want to hear they are low life byb scum, even though they are. people are very closed minded anymore. this is Yahoo answers people, this is where you come to get other peoples OPINIONS, if you don't like what they tell you then stop asking on the internet, get off your butts and call a VET or a REPUTABLE BREEDER! (this of course is not directed at you)

I see that too. I agree - it's just people asking things and then not wanting honest answers. I also think it's silly and childish when people give you a "thumbs down" just because your answer is different than theirs.
Lots of people out here are a bunch of babies! (Oh yeah, I'll get a thumbs down for that!).

What concerns me even more is that many of the "offended" are going to make the mistake of breeding dogs that should not be bred, then in two months, you are gonna see 'em here needing to know something of life or death importance to the dog, and no one who has a single crumb of knowledge will be around to do the dog any good. I hate that the dogs will pay for their pettiness and greed.
P.S. The 'movie' is "An Officer and a Gentleman". ;o)

ell if we dont answer thir question with honey dripping out of each word and agree with them we get reported or blocked or our accounts get deleted.
So why even bother you ask?
Because if just one person wakes up and smells the coffee it is all worth it. Besides I dont care if some little girl or boy blockes me! They can go watch Animal Planet and get the facts right in front of the TV. :)
