I have two registered pugs. The thing is i only have the papers for the male. When the lady gave me the female a few years ago she couldnt find the papers she claimed. With my males papers it does have a paper in there to register a litter so i assume I can but will it be as affective? I dont care about getting more money or whatever for them but i just want to make sure when i sell them and say their registered that i wont be decieving to anyone.

I have a 1 year old shih tzu who tends to not eat or finish her food in the morning and sometimes at night. Is this weird? And because she doesn't eat breakfast in the morning, she would sometimes vomit (yellow liquid, which I believe to be bile). I don't think she is sick or anything because she is still active and playful. She still drinks her water. Her nose isn't dry. She poops regularly. The only thing is, I think she is pretty skinny (8 lbs) and I would like her to eat more. Sometimes she doesn't finish her food. I'm just a bit concerned that she's not always willing/eager to eat her food when it's time for her to eat (morning and dinner).

I feed her Royal Canin dog food. Should I switch her food to something more tasty?

Thank you~

my dog is a yellow lab, 4 years old and all of a sudden will not eat. He always would eat his food right away and would eat whenever I fed him, now he will take a bite or two and thats eat. This started last night and again this morning. What would cause this? He did eat a couple treats last night, and he still has his bowel movements like normal. However it does look like he has a rash on his stomach which he got from rubbing against plants etc. on hikes through the woods, he got that last year too and it didnt effect him. So I am not sure what could be causing this.

We have a dog, she's been heartworm tested and on the preventative medicine Heartguard since she was a really young puppy. Recently she had a litter of two and I was wondering whether we should take the pups to be tested even though they have never been outside (3 weeks old now) or just start them on the appropriate dose of medicine at 8 weeks old?

I know I should call my vet to ask, and I intend to - but it's been bugging me all weekend and I keep forgetting to call during office hours.

my sister has a chihuahua who is over weight, he has had lose bowl movements for a while, he has now been put onto a vets diet, he is only one. He does not eat much, to warrent the weight gain, he had his manly hood taken away and the vet said this could be the reason. But she had 3 other dogs that had there bits done and they didnt put the weight gain on. He walks every day. She was told the Bakers dired food is fatty and this makes them have weight gain! Has any one been in the same position. Or have any idea why he is putting the weight on. Her vet is reluctant to do blood tests, and he thinks he is too young for thyriod problem, because she asked him, after i mentioned it, as it is common in dogs. If any one can offer any suggustions it would be appreciate. Many thanks

the spray is supposed to kill the fleas, eggs instantly, but yesterday just from walking (hurridly) up and down the stairs i got one on my leg, in total yesterday i picked 4 off of me, arghhhhhhhh! it makes my skin crawl, literraly i am stratching my skin like mad.

we even sprayed the bathroom where we gave him a bath. the thing is they're not jumping on my boyf (whos dog it is!!!) theyre attacking me! and i dont go near him!

How many of you own an American Pitbull Terrier or a Staforshire Terrier? Do any of your dogs play games with themselves? Lilly does ( my pittie). How many of your dogs think they are lap dogs? Lilly is almost 100 pounds and thinks she is a lap dog. Lilly is an American Pitbull Terrier/Rotwieller mix so she's a bit bigger. She has all the traits of a pit though.

Anyway do tell. Oh, what color are they? Lilly is black with a white stripe down her cheast. Around her eyes and on the bottom half of her paw her fur is tinted brown. You can only see the brown in the light though. What color are yours?

When I picked him up from my boyfriends house he was on the verge of dying. Extreme weakness, lifeless little body, his legs were sort of stiff. I rushed him to the vet and they said he suffered from a low sugar crash(hypoglycemia). Out vet suggested we give him a small syringe of Light Karo Syrup whenever he has one of those crashes again. They also suggested we feed him every hour once we brought him home. But upon our returning him, he won't eat a lot(we feed him eukanuba and the cans the vet gave us), and we even tried blending the food and feeding small amounts through another syringe. He's had one crash since we brought him home, but quickly resolved that with the syrup. Is there any other way to get him to eat? and drink his water? (hes also .8 lbs, if that makes a difference) (btw, the people we got the puppy from said he was about 8 wks, and after i told them about the crash, they said he was about 2-8 wks, and don't even know when he was born)

My dog was in my yard when an unneutured dog came up and started mating with her. The entire time she was growling, but she never stopped him or tried to get away, she just let him continue. They were together for about ten minutes and the he got off. They did it a few more times and she did the exact same thing. They actually did it about 12 times but i think that only 3-4 were more than 7 minutes long. My dog came from the pound and the pound told us she was spayed, but my old male dog that is now passed on, also tried to do this. So could my dog be preganant?

My dog has flaky, dry skin in places and his coat isn't so shiny. He also gets frequent ear-infections (though we clean his ears often) and lately has been having some itchiness and watering of his eyes. None of this is severe, just ... ongoing. I'm wondering if he's mildly allergic to or sensitive to something in his food, since it doesn't seem to be seasonal. I'm considering changing his food.

My question is this ... has anyone noticed an improvement in skin and/or coat condition after switching to Canidae from another brand? And, if so, would you describe?

If you feed your dog Canidae, why did you choose that brand? And, how does it compare cost-wise to the more widely-available so-called "premium" brands (Iams, Eukanuba, Science Diet)?

Thanks for answering ... I appreciate your help!

I have a litter of pure-bred basserriers (bassinji/terrier). I'm thinking about charging $1000 for males and $1200 for females. Is that reasonable, or should I ask for more?

Well you see my dog got poisoned by my new neighbors. When he is recovered my mom and dad want to give him up for adoption. The reason for this is because they are worried my neighbors will kill him this time by shooting him or something really bad. After he was poisoned i REALLY HATE my neighbors now I CANNOT FORGIVE THEM my mom saw them when they poisoned him but we have no evidence and i know thew wont tell the truth. I want him back so bad but would it be better to give him to a better home. He is like a pure breed German shepherd i do miss him and also my whole family.
