hi, i have two girls,3rs and 8 months, i want to get them both spayed this time round as they have just had there season together. i was wondering would it be best to have one done first then the other or have them both done at the same time? what do i do when they have been done? afterwards care? do i keep then seperate? thanx any help would be gratefully received.

I'd have them done at the same time.That way,they will both be a little sore,and they won't want to play. Aftercare is pretty simple.Keep them quiet for about 72 hours,no stairs ( except to go outside) no jumping and watch the incision site for redness.If they start to lick or nibble at the stitches,just take a towel,(dishtowel for a small dog,bath towel for a large dog) fold it into thirds or fourths lengthwise and pin it around the dogs neck with safety pins.) This will keep them from licking the stitches.It's great you're getting them fixed!

I have had 3 female dogs spayed I had each of them done separetyl because I didnt know how they would react to the surgery. after care . the vet will give you instructions on after care. mine did fine.There is not much to after care.

donw in texas they have a mobiel one that comes around. they do it for nearly nothing. i am not sure where you are located if you go to vet then he can tell you there isn't too much care for them but you have to watch them and stuff butits best to do them both togeher.

Your best bet is to go see or phone your local vet, or ask your friends whom they recommend. The vet will be able to tell you everything you need to know.
