I have a white boxer. I get angry when I hear big time breeder saying, "there shouldn't be any white boxers" or something like that. I think white boxers are beautiful. They have a heart that beats too. They can make some one just as happy as a fawn or brindle colored boxer can. My white boy is also AKC registered. So it just pisses me off when people like big time show breeders have something to say about white boxers. My white boy serve the purpose for me and my fiance.

I own a 5-year-old Australian Shepherd. He has a problem with eating way too fast. I'm afraid of him getting Gastric Torsion{bloat] because i know that its deadly. But he's eaten like this pretty much all his life except when he was a puppy; and he's never gotten bloated; and i'm very suprised at that.

I've seen a bowl that has pegs in it that is used to slow dogs down when their eating; but are there any other methods?

My puppy was just diagnosed with Kennel Cough and slight yeast in his ear. I didn't think that the oral meds would be too bad because he usually does not mind it, but these meds he will not even open his mouth and runs away. Cleaning and putting the meds in his ears is a workout. He totally freaks out! What can we do?

He will not sit still and I am concerned the amount of meds I am putting in him is not enough. Need help PLEASE!! I don't want my puppy sick anymore!

I take him outside and he will do his thing, both things, then come back in and pee again. I always praise him and give him a treat when he goes. I don't leave water down all day.

I have a 4-year-old Maltese. He developed a limp about a month ago. It started off VERY slight and has gotten progressively worse. Here's the symptoms:

1. It is worst when he first wakes up in the morning or after a nap.
2. After he's walked on it for a couple hours it almost totally disappears. He can run/walk normally.
3. It has gotten noticeably worse over the past month.
4. Anti-inflamatory medication had no effect.
5. X-rays were normal.
6. To the best of my knowledge he did nothing to injure this leg.
7. The leg concerned is the front left.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The vet has no idea what's wrong but took a blood sample to test for infection.

Thanks!

My nana recently passed and i have always been very fond of her dog because she got him the same day i was born and we grew up togethor. I always told her i wanted him so she wrote in her will i got the dog. I am now 15 which makes him 15 so hes 105 in human years. In my nanas last couple years living she had a hard time keeping care of him. Now he is very thin and as bad arthritus and cant chew the dry dog food we tried giving him soft food but he wouldnt eat it and adding water made him throw up so anyone know of a dry dog food that is easy to chew and maybe even one that might help his arthritus. I think the reason he is so think is because he cant shew the food so he hast been eating. I just really want him to ba able to eat, please help

Our Golden Retriever pup was just spayed about 4 days ago and seemed to be doing well after the surgery.
This morning she had a hard time getting up and felt like she had a fever and threw up a few times... is this normal? The vet said she shouldn't be sore and that she was fine when he saw her last... this answer made me feel very uncomfortable. She is having a hard time laying down and getting up and going outside is hard for her to squat to go to the bathroom and also to get up the stairs after she is done.. the site of the surgery looks ok... it is not hot and swollen or anything but I cant figure out what might be happening to her.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Because my 2 shih-tzus are spoiled and don't listen very well when i try to teach them not to jump on people, not to growl at me and not to use the bathroom in the house. I have had them since they were 6 weeks and they are now 13 weeks and nothing is working, i am being consistent when i tell them things but they are just not getting it What should i do? And someone told me i should spank them but that is out of the question.
