He still continues to pee on her, but she had always been the only one. Today someone came to the house and while standing in the foyer he peed on him.
He is a 1 year old black lab.

Why do you assume that peeing on someone has anything to do with being fixed? That is a sign of dominance, a male dog marking his territory. Why do you allow him to pee on your daughter? How much training and corrections has this had? Get him into a good OB training class, not a petsmart or petco crap and focus on establishing who is in charge of the pack in his mind. This problem will escalate and become worse if not addressed now...

The only way your dog will stop this is if you make him. What have you done so far to stop this?Male dogs do strange things to mark there territory and that's OK out side, but inside the house you are the boss and you have to let it be known. You can do this by just raising your vise and using a rolled up news paper.

He's probably just expressing himself.

I was told by a friend who reads a lot of dog training books that if you ignore a dog's bad behavior it will go away on its own. So try not to make a big fuss about him pissing on your friends and family. Ignore it and it will go away. Most importantly, when he does not pee on your guests, be sure to feed him a cookie or some sort of 'high value' treat. My friend told me that too.

Get "The Good Behavior Book For Dogs". It'll teach you how to teach him to avoid that behavior.
