my puppy is only about a month and a half old.. I dont know if I should take it out or is it better for her to play indoors?

Is it harmful if I take her for a ride in the car or to the park?

BTW she doesnt wear a leash yet only a collar but she follows me around or I carry her.

i have a 6 month old puppy named roxy. She's a really good dog but i just cant seem to get her potty trained, ive tried everything! and i moved into place that will only let me take her out at night, but as far as during the day, i dont know what to do because im sure she has to go at least once every hour or so. so now the lady im staying with is trying to make me get of her and i really dont want to, i mean i love that dog! and right now im having her go in our laundry room which is lenolium (spelling?)...still isnt good but its better then on the carpet where it could stain...even though she goes on the carpet once in a great while.... What do i do!!!???? I dont want to get rid of my dog!

We a man comes into our house she barks at them some men she stops barking at but others she keeps going for ages.
She also goes for our cat but only when she is sitting on us.
Does anyone know how we can stopher or why she doe it?

I was watching yet another dog adoption show, this one on a black and white dog named rocky and I couldn't believe how they acted around the dog, anyone whos seen the dog whisperer will know what I mean, the first family kept talking to him in that high pitched baby vioce which is not good for dogs! He seemed scared of them, in his head he was probably going "Now why should I listen to them, they're not being calm-assertive." The next family imedialty pet the dog the second they daw him, another no-no, whereever that dog goes he's going to wind up ruling the house, I hate stuff like that. I think Cesar Millan should host the dog adoption shows.

Any idea why do my 2-month old dog pee everytime he sees me when I arrive home from work! It is very obvious that he is happy to see me. It's just makes me laugh when he pee uncontrollably everytime!

(His name is Yoda... do you think its a cute name or what? :P
My family thinks that is a weird name for a dog)

I was given a staff puppy last monday he was fine for the 3 days I had him. Happy to play and eat. I didnt know he was 5 wks old never had puppy before. I told to feed puppy food and milk. He had a very large swollen stomach all time I had him. On friday I went upstairs 5min to put my washing away. I have a 2 year old son who I believed wouldnt go near puppy. I left him and puppy downstairs watching tv. When came downstairs a neighbour showed me my puppy was outside and collapsed. I scooped him up and tried to make him better. He was sicking food and was all floppy wouldnt sit up. It was awful i was in shock. A youth took the puppy from me and run down the road to get the puppy help. i went after him wantin to see if puppy be ok. I was threatened by other neighbours. the rspca called and took the puppy and I have tried to find out how he is no luck. I and kids r grievin so distraug, my neighbours want to drive me out my home. I never hurt a fly. Am i in trouble rspca for goin upstair

11 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback. We bought him from a breeder at 8 weeks old. He gets out a lot and is always with us. We now are back at work so I take him out to a dog park in the morning, then drop him back off at home. Then come home after work to take him out again.

At home he has toys, the TV is on, and the windows are open letting in that sun he loves. Why would he go mess up the house and what can we do? We have to go to work...

We found a foster parent for the dog. Her new name is Faith. The foster parent is working with her on her fear of other dogs. She has made great progress. The foster parent is thinking about adopting her.

I wanted to do an update because allot of people wanted one, some of wich don't allow other answers users to e-mail them.

Thanks for all of your wonderful help and words of encourgement in my time of need.

P.S. Don't worry about me, I'm not going to quit volunteering. This experance only reminded me why I wanted to volunteer. I want to help bring those kind of people to justice someday. I also want to help the pets on there road to recovery.

NOTE: some exercises may be problems due to discipline (mainly number 1) but it doesn't take much time to go through, and they are fun!

I am interested in: Dog's breed(s), age, the IQ, and brief history of games and feeding.

My dog is alaskan husky/german shepherd/lab?, 7 years old, scored 57. He loves playing with his ballie and we do alot of hide and seek & talking. He eats natural dog food w/ glucosamine and Omega 3's added, plus extra yummies like eggs and popcorn and whatever the baby leaves behind.

Just Curious!

Why Does my dog pees every where around my house? Actually I live in an apartment and I dont have a back yard. He just pees on bumpy stuff like pillows, Dirty Clothes, anything basically. Sometimes hes a good boy and goes to the bathroom and pees in the shower (I thought him that), But almost everyday he pees on my leather sofa, and around corners of desks. Any tips? (No tips of beating up my dog or giving it away) Thanks :)

I have a 12 year old yellow lab that lives at my house and I take him to my momś while I work. He pants big time and will not relax until he is let outside and refuses to come in a dry cool house even if its raining or during very hot weather. A new cat started living at my momś a month ago but he started doing this 2 months ago. At my house he is very relaxed. We also have a nice cat at my house but he been good with it for 2 years. He does have a problem with my steps to the back door and my momś steps to the back door. The front steps is no problem at either house. He acts like he is in a great deal of pain only in my motherś house. Anybody with ideas what the problem is with my poor dog would be apprieceted.
