NOTE: some exercises may be problems due to discipline (mainly number 1) but it doesn't take much time to go through, and they are fun!

I am interested in: Dog's breed(s), age, the IQ, and brief history of games and feeding.

My dog is alaskan husky/german shepherd/lab?, 7 years old, scored 57. He loves playing with his ballie and we do alot of hide and seek & talking. He eats natural dog food w/ glucosamine and Omega 3's added, plus extra yummies like eggs and popcorn and whatever the baby leaves behind.

Just Curious!

I'll let this go to vote and extend the expiration if needed.

THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT FOR PURINA!!!!!!!!!!! I do not agree with them either, which is why I do not give them money. Just check out the video or do not answer! This is armchair research!

DP, if you look at the site the test is in no way affiliated with Purina (their not gaining anything from you watching the video), it's a video made by a dog psychologist showing you how to test your dog's IQ. If you really wont visit this site, I found a text-y version of the same test here: http://www.abc.net.au/animals/dog_test/

I watched it and it looks brilliant fun, and I will do it, but I can't right now because I have to go out. 57! Woah! your dog is "Brilliant"! lol. The test looks like fun, but I don't think it's very accurate at all, a lot of these tests have a lot more to do with the dog's personality than their intelligence, (but then again, maybe personality is intelligence for dogs), but if you think of an older or quieter dog isn't going to look for treats as much as an over active treat-hog, a more well behaved dog may not get as mentally excited by it's name or lead as an excitable puppy. But all the same, it'll be interesting to see how the breeds/ages/etc will compare - I hope lots of people do this!

In my dog training classes I was taught a dog is "only as smart as it's owner/trainer!
In other words the IQ in qustion is not the dog's but the 'guy' in charge!
Purina is not my kind of company!

I don't agree with Purina and the ingredients they use in their foods. They are killing pets.. I can't in good conscience visit their website.
