What kind of dog is it? Usually the little ones get excited when they see you get home that they pee, or squirt, because they're happy to see you. It should lessen with age but some don't get rid of that habit, such as chihuahuas.
The advice that my vet gave me was not to get the dog more excited when you get home. Most people get that high pitched voice and start saying things like "Hi baby" or things like that, this only gets them more excited. When you come in the house, just go about your business and don't give them too much attention at first. So put your things away and then once the dog is calmer then you can call them to you. Hope this helps.

Yoda is a really cute name! If I ever get a boy dog, I will keep that one in mind.
Yeah, he's young and not in complete control of his bladder yet. So just chock it up to him being cute, but I would make sure to take him outside immediately in order to enforce exactly where he MUST go pee pee. But it is nice having someone be happy to see you when you get home, isn't it? :)

The minute you get in from work do not give eye contact or speak to the puppy, take him straight outside then you can laugh when he pees.It might be funny now but I am sure you will not find it so funny when he gets bigger and his urine is stronger and much more liquid is deposited on your floor.Start the way you mean to go on, and I would suggest that you try and get the pup out of this habit as soon as possible. Some pups get overly excited and this can happen site the pup near the back door for a quick exit outside.

Submissive peeing, or doing it out of excitement from seeing you.
Dogs don't get full control over their bladders until at least six months of age.
Yoda is cute! I haven't seen many dogs at all with that name. I work in grooming, so I have seen a ton of names that people come up with.

I like the name it's cute. When you get home from work, I'd suggest just ignoring him for about 5 mins. which will calm him down. The more excited he gets the more he will pee. After 5 mins. take him outside and then pet him and greet him.

One of two things: 1) submissive peeing, he's showing you that he knows you're the boss. He'll grow out of it. If he doesn't, then 2) weak bladder, take him to the vet in a few months if it continues and have that checked.

Just as others have said, it's submissive peeing.
BTW, my wife loves Yoda and would think that name is great for a dog.

If you give ur dog alot of attention when first coming home, he is excited, best thing to do is to ignore him when coming in for a few minutes, then when he settles down, in a calm way, greet him.
