Why Does my dog pees every where around my house? Actually I live in an apartment and I dont have a back yard. He just pees on bumpy stuff like pillows, Dirty Clothes, anything basically. Sometimes hes a good boy and goes to the bathroom and pees in the shower (I thought him that), But almost everyday he pees on my leather sofa, and around corners of desks. Any tips? (No tips of beating up my dog or giving it away) Thanks :)

It's probably because his training on going in the shower wasn't emphasized enough, that he should ONLY go in the shower. And also make sure it's easy for him to get IN the shower. If it has a high edge, get some doggy stairs. If it has a door make sure it's open.

Of course NEVER hit a precious pet. Boy dogs are very territorial. And they mark their spots. It will be hard without him having a small yard. This is what we did. We bought a plastic box, like a cat litter box, filled the bottom with cat litter and bought a piece of sod from HOme Depot. Put in on our small balcony or a corner of the house and kept a spray bottle filled with plain water and gave him a squirt when he misbehaved and directly him to the "pee spot", the sod. It took awhile, but he learned finally.

If he isn't neutered please do so. You can also purchase belly bands for your pup to wear while in the house. I make my own belly bands, and my male has one for every holiday, season, event, sports team, etc. etc.!

google "belly bands" and use them around his belly. He will pee in them instead of on your furniture.
