It's ok, go ahead and get her vaccinated- many vets do recommend that the rabies shot be given at a different time than other vaccinations- but all are safe during the heat cycle.

Check with the people at the mail order desk, or the counter help at the feed store where you buy the vaccine - they are trained by the product's manufacturer to give you the most correct and up to date advice. It's their job.
Sometimes a local breeder can help you too. Look in the classified section of the newspaper and I'll bet you can find a knowledgeable breeder listed who is willing to talk to you for free. Vets are too expensive to bother for such a simple question.

she can be vaccinated during her heat as long as she hasn't been bred ( you can't vaccinate a pregnant dog)
