I have a 1 1/2 year old is he still a puppy? At what age do they turn into dogs?

The thought that every year is seven years is incorrect. The first year is fifteen years; the second is nine; every year after that is four. So your dog is about nineteen and a half right now. Technically he's an adult.

I say they act like a puppy till 1 1/2 till 2 yrs. But when i think of a puppy i think of under 1 year. Theyre is no set age that they turn into dogs, like people, a 15 year old could be just as adult like as a 25 year old.

She is already a dog. She will turn into an ADULT around Age 3 or 4. She will still be a puppy but older when she is two and a half yrs old. good luck!

Actually it depends on the breed. You can't call a dog adult until he's fully developed and I just read about one of the giant breeds that aren't considered to be fully mature until age 3. So it just depends. If you go to the AKC web site they have links to national breed clubs and you can get theinformation for your specific dog :)

No, he is not a puppy anymore and they turn into dogs at the age of one.

Your "puupy" is already an adult. Usually 1 or 2 yrs of age, they are considerd adults.

I think they turn into dogs at the age of one year or three years old although I am not sure. GOD LESS YOU!!!

Dogs are considered adult at 1 year old. However, it takes them a few years for them to start to calm down.

i would think that up to 2 years is a puppy or at least a toddler.
