I have the same problem with my dog. i have to walk out into the yard with my puppy to get him to pee in the yard when its raining or the ground is wet. My vet suggested taking him for walks when its raining lightly outside so that he gets used to it, but i never did that.

I have 2 mini doxies and neither of them like to go out in the rain. I just flat out insist and if I have to I stand out there with them. It's no fun and I usually try to take them under a tree. We've been having lots of rain here lately and I've been getting really wet but at least no one is peeing in my house.

for the times when the ground is wet or moist, keep a pee pee pad inside the house. train the dog to pee on the pad. eventually he/she will know to pee on the pad when it rains. when i say eventually i mean about 2 weeks.

This one is WAY too easy.. I do it myself all the time.. Put on your jacket and your boots and you GO OUTSIDE too.. You stand at the door like a sucky baby afraid of the rain.. You teach your dog to act the same way.. If You won't go out in the rain then why the heck should he???

Open the door, put her out,and wait. Don't give in to the whines.(and if you do put her out, watch, she might pull the old "I'm Done" routine to get in,and then ,well, you know.)
Believe,They don't want the feeling of stepping in it,just like us, and the rain ,wet lawn-Good Luck!

My dog does the same thing he only 6 months old and will refuse to go outside, all i do is walk outside with him, and he will do his pottying, or as i read in one of the answers take her for a walk, is another good way, if you dont want to take her for a walk for her to go outside, she will have no choice to potty, you have to get it in them they have to go potty no matter what,
hope this helps some

My chiahah is like that too. We always have to walk her, on the leash, out in the rain & pratically make her go.

Bring her outside with an umbrella. Seriously, my dog won't go out in the rain ever since we bring him out with an umbrella.

Our Lab won't go outside by himself when it's raining either. He will go out when I stand on the porch and wait for him....I think he's afraid I'm going to shut him out of the house! LOL...I would just say stand where she can see you and just wait...she'll eventually go.
