You need to get your parents to explain the facts of life to you.
Oh, and get the dogs fixed, too.

Your question is a little confusing. Your male dog mating with your female will not prevent her from getting pregnant, but WILL get her pregnant. Even thought he has mated with her 7 times, if they did not LOCK then the mating did not occur.

Thank you to the ONE person who answerd my question in a recpectfull manner
and tho the rest of you jack ***'s.. This was a question that had my hole vet asst class wondering, i mentioned that my dogs were mating very often, and thought nothing about it,just that it was normal..Till the TEACHER told me that it only takes once for the female to get pregnant, and that she should not mate more than once or twice!...I THINK I NEED A NEW TEACHER...and you people should stop with your sh!ty answers, dont come on here trying to "HELP" when all you do is jump on people for how "stupid" their questions are.

The only thing that will prevent her from getting pregnant, is to have her Spayed. If your male already mated with her even once, much less seven, then I can guarantee you that it's already too late and she's already pregnant. Once is all it takes!

WHY would you POSSIBLY think that?
If a man and a woman continually mate, does it prevent the woman getting pregnant??? (I usually hate to compare humans and dogs, but sometimes I think the simplest way works!)
It WILL make her sore, pregnant and possible ratty due to the persistant attention.
It will make him horny, restless, possibly overly protective and could have him marking all over the home.
Get BOTH dogs neutered ASASP - PLEASE

ummmm No.
You may want to consider separating them. I'm sure your female has had just about enough of your male.
Next, off to the vet with you to get them fixed? If not, why? Just asking.
And I think you should try that question with your girlfriend. If you have sex with her 7 times after she ovulates, what are the odds she will end up pregnant?

No....nothing besides a spay will prevent her from getting pregnant. I suggest fixing both dogs if you wish to avoid a surprise pregnancy.

People like you who are completely clueless should have dogs, much less let them mate!

Pathetic - just pathetic - and you are breeding dogs.
Your dogs need to get fixed - fast (I would say you do too, but I'm trying to be kind this week).
