the puppies are rat terriers and theay are 1 week old today.

they basically start at about 3 weeks they should open their eyes in about a week and start crawling around more.
At 4 weeks they should be getting up and getting around and should start to be weaned

Puppies begin to stand at about 2 weeks and have a pretty steady gait at 3 weeks. And smaller breed puppies are not slower to walk than larger breeds!

Puppies can crawl along as soon as they are born. normally they would be about 12 days before they are fully on their feet, again this depends on the breed..If you are more specific when asking questions you will be able to get more accurate information as small breeds may take a bit longer than larger breeds.
