It's sick and needs to go to a vet immediately or it will die very soon. It was probably not weaned off the mother's milk properly. Take it to the emergency vet now.

Too many things. When a puppy has diarrhea they can go downhill fast. This pup needs to see a Vet quick to find out the cause. In the meantime, if the dog is not throwing up and there is no blood in the stool, try feeding it some pumpkin pie filling- plain. Comes in a can on the baking aisle in a grocery store. There are two kinds. One is plain and is just pureed pumpkin. The other has spices and sugar added. You don't want that one. Also, you can get pedialyte (clear, on baby aisle in the grocery store) and mix it in water, half and half.
Go to a store tonight and get this. I hope you will be taking the pup to a Vet tomorrow as this is urgent since the pup is so weak.
Worms, parasites, puppy diseases, viruses are just some of the possible causes of your pups diarrhea. It could also be something he got into or ate. What are you feeding your pup?
You need to get some of the pedialyte/water mixture into him even if you have to use a needleless syringe or something to get this into his mouth, a little bit at a time.

Because of how weak your pup is, if you can get it in to an emergency clinic tonight, that would be best. At least go to the Vet in the morning.

Attention should be given imediately or this pup will die.It is entirely too young to be away from Mom.but if it is without Mom,try giving this pup in place of water some baby non-flavored pediolyte, this will replace any electrolytes it has lost. Also give it a dab of plain honey on its tongue to elevate its sugar level, which is probably low from not eating.Try also boiling some chicken, cut into small pieces, put in blender with small amount of water and puree it,most pups will eat this when nothing else and if it won't eat ,then you must force feed it with a syringe or something simular. The most important thing is to get something on this pups stomach if nothing but the pediolyte. You can also give the pup about 1/8 teaspoon of Pepto bismol every 4 to 6 hours. This pup may only need to be rewormed, but could also be the start of parvo virus,or cocidia and will need meds for such ,and if not taken care of,this pup will die.Good luck with the pup.If no improvement is noted after doing the above, see your vet imediately.

Did your puppy come from a shelter? He probably has parvo and needs immediate vet attention. They will give him an iv and other meds. It is not an arm and a leg either (if this is indeed the problem) No matter what our advice on here can NOT replace professional medical attention. Stay strong and take your baby in to be checked.

Well if it is 6 weeks old, it should be with its mother if it is not already. A lot of things can cause a puppy to have all of those symptoms. Take her to the emergency vet NOW. It could be bad.

He is definitely dehydrated. Parvo virus has a very distinctive odor in their bowel movements. Distemper shows signs of neurological problems such as loss of balance, lethargy, loss of appetite, diarrhea, vomiting etc. Take this baby to your vet for testing asap, you will have a better chance at saving his life. Good Luck!

Are the rest of them acting like that ( assuming at 6 weeks it would still be with it's litter mates)? Get to the vet dehydration will kill a young pup FAST.

Madison is right. Get your puppy to the vet. It could be distemper, worms, or an intestinal infection. Your puppy must have food and water, and having diarrhea causes dehydration.

Dogs occasionally have diahrea due to natural factors but if it lasts more than a day or so and he is not eating or drinking and cannot stand you must take him to the vet right away. The puppy is probably dehydrated and there is likely a more serious underlying condition.

Sounds serious if he can hardly stand......could be parvo....could be a bad case of worms....he could also be dehydrated. Make sure he has plenty of water and take him to an emergency clinic tonight. It may be too late if you wait until tomorrow.
