She is less than two weeks old if her eyes are closed. She might not make it. Feed her at least 6 times a day or more.. She will pee-poo if you take a warm, wet cotton ball and rub her with it like a mommy's tongue. Just "lick" her all over her tummy and tushie. Be sure to lick her face with the cotton ball too before you lick her tummy.
You will find it easier to feed this puppy with an eyedropper rather than a bottle. Keep her warm. Puppies separated from Mom before their eyes open are much more likely to die, so I really wish you the very best. Good luck.

It's very likely that she is less than 2 weeks old.. BUT if the mother ( an it's obvious she wasn't ) wasn't taken care of properly and wasn't providing proper nutrition, it will delay the eyes and ears in opening.
The milk replacer should give directions on how much she should be fed according to weight.. She is going to need to be fed every 2 hours.. 24 hours a day. You might want to look into contacting a shelter to see if they have a foster that has a litter currently that the puppy could be put with.. It would be much better in the long run if she was raised by a mom.
A warm cloth or cottom ball and rub belly like mom would lick, to get her to pee and poop.. You must do this after she eats, she cannot do it on her own yet
likely..
Check into the foster home thing and talk to your vet.. Hand raising a puppy with no help at all from mom is a big job. Vet might even know someone with a litter that would allow the puppy to move in. Or know someone who lost their litter and mom would be willing to take on a pup.

Keep the puppy warn, you have to take a warm rag and rub it's little pee pee to make it go to the bathroom also its little hinney. You need to feed it about every four hours and depending on how old it is. sometimes you can feed item before you go to be and they will be good till am. The puppy will let you know when it is hungry. If it's eyes are not open it is younger than you think. th eyes open around two weeks. If there were more puppies please don't leave them to starve, call your local animal shelter or a rescue group, you also need to turn the people in to the law for letting this happen. In most states it is against the Law to neglect and animal. So at least call the police and let them handle it. Good luck, a rescue dog will be most grateful and will never let you down. Oh by the way you can paper train it the same way you train it to potty.Just say POTTY, or Use the bathroom, any command you like it will remember it and can be trained easy.

She is less than 2 weeks old, as there eyes open around 2 weeks of age. You need to buy a heating pad from the pet store to put under the puppy's bed- keep it on low- they can't control their body temperature so this is vital- also put a stuffed animal in there with him/her so it can cuddle and not be lonely- as they cry or whine when they are lonely. Also, feed it every 2 to 3 hours on the dot from the puppy formula bottle.
Also, take it to the vet tomorrow so they can check it and make sure it is not sick. Call the vet with anymore questions.
ALSO VERY IMPORTANT- You need to get a warm washcloth and gently rub it's genitals/anal area in order for it to go to the bathroom- the mother normally licks them for them to go potty. Do this quite a few times a day. This is important because if they don't potty, they will die. Do this every time after it eats- if it doesn't pee or poop at all for a day, you need to take it to the vet immediately.
At 4 weeks of age, it will be weaned from milk onto semi-solid food. Mix milk replacement with solid food or warm water and drain it to make it soft for it to eat. ONLY DO THIS AT 4 WEEKS OF AGE and by 8 weeks it will be able to find a home, or you can keep it.
PLEASE call the vet though so they can tell you anymore information- I have raised newborn puppies before so feel free to email me if you have anymore questions- email on my profile.
ALSO someone has to be with the puppy 24/7 because it must be fed every 2 or 3 hours, even throughout the night- so set your alarm for every 2 or 3 hours. If you go to school, have a parent take care of it at all times. If you can't be there that much, contact a vet or rescue group and they will nurse the puppy and then you will be able to adopt it if you want. This will be a good idea if you've never cared for newborn puppies before, please consider it.

Place the pup on a heating pad covered with a towel.Put the heating pad on low setting and you must feed the baby about every two to three hours. If this pups eyes aren't open then it isn't at least two weeks old.Try moistening the eyes with a washcloth dipped in warm water each time you feed the pup,and this will help the eyes to open.Eyes should be opened at 14 days old and if not, then you must moisten them and try to pull apart very gently. This pup should eat at least two to three ounces of formular each feeding. You may also have to stimulate the genital areas with a warm cloth to make it go to potty and this should be done at each feeding also.Good luck with the pup.

You do need to help her go potty each time she feeds....AFTER.....and it's EZ to do with a cotton ball and some warm water....wipe her little privates just like the Momma dog would do licking her after she feeds. You are probably gonna have to feed her every 2 hrs or so....if you will call any Vet or Emergency Vet Clinic they will be happy to help you thru this. It's a full time job, but if that puppy makes it, you will have a friend for life! I had to do this once taking college classes in nursing school and took my puppy to classes with my in my pocket...for the body warmth and because she still needed to eat every 2 hours. The best of luck to you.

first she is under 2 weeks old if her eyes are not open yet.
She should be fed every 2 hours around the clock and be kept warm with a heating pad.
she does need to be stimulated to go to the bathroom, use wet paper towel.
make sure the milk is warm ( just like a babies bottle)
Once the eyes are open seh should be 2 weeks old and talk to a vet about starting to worm her if the mother was not taken care of good chance she will have worms. aslo at 6 weeks old get her shots as she won't have any imunity to anything.
If you have any other questions email me at kathy_decaprio@yahoo.com

Call your vet. He's your best help right now. You'll need to feed the pup every 2-3 hours day and night. She can't go to the bathroom herself yet so you'll have to stimulate her to go after every feeding. Your vet can best tell you how to do this.
Best of luck with the puppy and if you knwo anything about those renters who abandoned the dogs, you should report them to the police and your local animal control people. Give names and any other information you can.

You are going to need to go to the pet store and get a bottle and some puppy milk.
If the eyes are not open then it is under 14 days old because the pupies eyes open between 12 and 16 days.

Great answer DP - great answer.
yes, call your humane society or rescue organizations - email them - get on the internet and type in dog rescues and ____ (your city). Call all of them. They love animals and want nothing more to help people in situations like yours. If a foster dog "mother" could be found that may save the pup!!!
