I have a 5 month old JAck ruseel and he has a green discharge coming from his bits n bobs! i've taken him to the vet who siad it's probably hormonal most dogs have discharge and if you give them the chop that reduces it! he is too young for the chop atm but am considering it! the vet said its nothing to worry baout but did give me anti biotics probably more more my reassurance than his helath! as its been almost two weeks since the tablets and he still has disacharge! I'm not sure if it is infected, or if its where he is a small dog and he's getting caught on the grass that maybe giving if the green colour or if it is 'normal' like the vet says? wat do you think? Thanks

I just adopted a 1year old boxer,I am terrified of flea and I do not want any in my home. I bought frontline today from my vet but I have been reading online that it's not good and that I will probably still get fleas. I am seeking to enjoy my puppy without infesting my home with fleas. Any suggestions? I heard advantage was really good but the vet said he does not carry it. Help

No joke. Her fur is simply getting thin on her neck, upper chest and shoulders. It's not in patches; it looks the way a man's hair does when it starts getting thin. She doesn't have any sores or rough spots; her skin looks fine, just a little dry. It's not mange, fleas, her collar or her food. She doesn't scratch and she seems perfectly healthy and happy. She runs and plays like a puppy (even though she's 5 1/2) and eats like a horse. Anybody have any ideas before I have to pay the vet $100?

We have a large house with stairs and a pool. We cannot decide on any of these dogs. We want a companion dog that does not need much exercise (a good inside romp). Not much grooming either (how many times a yorkie has to be groomed?)

I heard it is like 30 minutes before exercise or an hour and a half after exercise. Is this right?

A Texas lab, found acetaminophen (a fifth possible
contaminant) in at least five samples of pet food that were submitted by pet owners and pet manufacturers. The medication was mostly found with cyanuric acid, and hundreds of other samples that were sent in tested positive for melamine.

The highest level of acetaminophen was found in a dog food sample submitted by a pet food manufacturer, but the lab is not identifying the company.

The contaminants were found in pet foods that have not
been recalled!
