She sleeps in her kennel and when we leave the house she goes in her kennel. But during the day she is out loose in the house with our other Shepherd who is 2 years old and almost potty trained when we got her. Totally trained now. I take her out at least once an hour and praise her like crazy. She was getting better and then got worse. We have a few behavior problems with our 2 year old shepherd like jumping up and we have a yard they play in but if she gets the out the front door she doesn't come back until we chase her and catch her. The puppy is starting to follow her behavior. Thanks for any help.

I had hell potty training out mastiff. so every time he pottied in the house I showed him what he did and spanked him, then I put him outside till he went. I would actually lift up his tail and whip his butt. sounds silly but it only took me 3 days of this and he figured it out. when she goes outside and pottys reward her also. treat or just tell her good job and congratulate her.

Do you have a crate for her? Unless you crate train,it's very hard to potty train a dog. Also ,some people think that an animal should be able to hold their bladder for all day. It's not possible.Puppies are only good for 1 hr for every month that they are old.So your dog cannot be expected to go any longer than 5 hrs, without emptying it's bladder or defecating.During training you should limit the times that food is available.make it a regular schedule 3x a day and whatever isn't finished in 20 min's gets picked up.It helps you to know when they'll need to defecate. Ask your vet for more info on training your dog, also

Take her outside a ridiculous amount of times a day and become super excited when she does anything outside, you can even give her a treat if she does. You will still have the occasional accident as a young dog, but this should really help quickly! I have nothing but shepherds and they love to please you, and happy reaction after going potty will help them understand and be more willing to do it again. :)

What method are you using for potty training? I always recommend to people to crate train them. You will need to provide more information if you want someone to help you. Feel free to email me directly if you would like

every time she potties on the floor grab her and put her nose in it and pop her and tell her go to the door if you have to potty.
