Some people have this gift with animals were animals like them .Gaurd dogs are meant to be fearouses but they still have domestic dog pet in them but there job is to gaurd the owners house.I have this gift with cats i wanna have it with dogs.When i go to my friends house some of his other friends are normally playing with his gaurd dog but i have been knowing and visiting this friend for years but the dog barks at me when i come near him.How can i be like his other friends?

keep your distance from the dog. Dogs seek people who give them less attention. Therefore the dog might begin to come up to you to see why you show no interest in him. He will eventually want your attention.

Guard dogs are for guarding. Play dogs are for playing. Leave the former alone and seek the company of the latter.

sounds to me you show a little fear around him. they pick up on this. you will never be able to be friendly with all animals you come into contact with.be happy with the kittys
