I just adopted a 1year old boxer,I am terrified of flea and I do not want any in my home. I bought frontline today from my vet but I have been reading online that it's not good and that I will probably still get fleas. I am seeking to enjoy my puppy without infesting my home with fleas. Any suggestions? I heard advantage was really good but the vet said he does not carry it. Help

1800petmeds.com I get all of mine from there, and the throw a doggie biscuit in ther for the guy, too! I use frontline - i've heard (and do not know for a fact) that advantage gets weaker as the time goes on and barely protects the dog by the time it needs to be re-applied. My pup is almost 2 and been on frontline since he was 6 months. Since we live in Ohio and the weather is sooooo unpredictable, he gets it year round. We have never found a flea on him or in the house, so I trust it. I have also found that 1800petmeds has HWP cheaper than at the vet, too!

The best place to look for this type of discounts is SearchAllDeals. Just start with a search term like "Advantage flea treatment".

just google Advantage. Just so you know the company does not honor the guarantee if not purchased from a vet. They all do that

Look online at PetMeds.com.
Advantage works very well. They have a new one out now that will help repel ticks and mosquitos too.

They have it at drugstore.com, and the price is pretty decent. I use Advantage on my cat and it works great.
