My English Bulldog was ran over 2 weeks ago and is unable to see. The right eye was the worst and probably won't recover. Is there any hope that her eyesight will return in the other eye?

my jack russell zoe is only 3.
she is in perfect health, but here in the past two weeks when she is inside i notice her slightly limping on her left front leg.
sometimes worse after a nap.
but she has no problem running & chasing squirrels outside!!lol.
her leg acts stiff at times.
any suggestions other than vet?
she isnt holding it up , only limps, she runs great!!
it really makes no sense.
her appetite and everything is fine.
thanks.
(m)
ps, i have checked her feet , her leg, her nails are trimmed, i see no outward reason for the limp.

Mia, my 6 year old female maltese, was attacked by a larger dog 2 days ago while we were on a walk. She spent the better part of the day in the hospital. She is now somewhat reluctant to go outside, which is understandable to me. How can I help relieve her fears?

12 week old puppy, crate training. Taking her out alot, and she has been ok with eliminating outside. I set out an orange cone as the "spot" for her to eliminate, within the circle of her leash. My wife thinks this is nuts, we should just be happy if she goes outside whereever. I think that keeping her near the exact spot each time will get her to go faster as she smells the previous eliminations. What is right?

Hello I'm Deja, Earlier this year my 9 year old german shepard dog died through suffering with tuma's around his lungs and heart. He was half white half normal. But my friends dog was full white and died of having a tuma's in the same places. I was just wondering (because my dog was half white) if it is common for white german shepards to have tuma's, because its in there breed etc. And now i think i'm ready for a new dog, and thinking of getting another GSP. But having a white one, or half of a white one, could end up the same way.. and i dont want to end up heartbroken again by the same situation.

does anyone know anything about it?

I have a 7 week old malti/shi tzu. I got him a crate and I wanted to start crate training him. I work graveyard shift and was wondering how I would schedule this? He was whimpering and crying all night .. i tried to ignore it but i gave it.. its bad i know! he falls asleep on my lap .. so when i put him down, he starts again.

And I was also planning to fence in a section of the house with metal borders. Is it a good idea to put the crate in there? along with food/water and puppy pads? would I do crate training within the metal borders?

Nyles is 12 years old. He was recently diagnosed with Diabeties. He eats twice a day. Once at 8am then again at 8pm. We were giving him insulin shots at 30 mins after food but we found his blood sugar went too high so we started giving the shots with food. So he has dinner (pal dog food in a can) and a shot of insulin (0.6 of a half cc) (what ever that is) and then in the morning his blood sugar is so high that our blood sugar meter cant even read it. (it cant read above 33). Why does it go so high. He gets dehydrated badly when this happens and drinks and pees alot. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I am trying to reduce my own intake of processed foods, and I think the stuff they put in dog/cat food is probably much worse quality than how they process our food, so... what can i prepare for my dog in lieu of processed store-bought crunchy dogfood? Can I give him raw meat? Or should I cook it first? Is raw beef safe, how about raw chicken?
Thanks in advance.

My dog Carmen has been slowing down a bit, but I have only just noticed it this year. When she prepares to lay on the bed, she goes into her "circular dance" at a snails pace. It seems as though her joints hurt, and its getting harder for her to get comfortable. I notice that she wakes up more often in the night to stretch and reposition herself. Additionally, she has been wanting to sleep on the pillow more often and not just the bed itself. She still plays hard and runs fast (she's only 7.5 lbs), but the other day I witnessed her knee give out when she jumped a small step. She had a Vet appointment last week and she checked out fine, but I am still concerned. Isn't six years old young for a Chihuahua? I was under the impression that they can sometimes live for 15 to 18 years.
