we got our dog last january he was very over weight .he has now lost half is body weight .but when he is playing in the garden and running about after about 5-15 mins hie legs start to shake. what do you think this could be?

well, sometimes they will shake because of his muscles being tired out. Its like when humans exercise, sometimes our bodys will shake due to streneous activity. It is probably the same with other animals. I wouldnt be too worried unless he shakes at other times of the day, like just sitting or lying down without doing any exercise. It also depends on the dog breed. Smaller breeds tend to shake more than larger dog breeds. I hope i could be of some help!!! Good Luck!!

There is no way to say. You should take him to the vets and have him checked.
It could be just muscle spasms but I wouldn't want to wait to see get to the vet. i will say I don't think it's an emergency.

If he was overweight, he may have put too much pressure on the joints, get the vet to check them

muscle spasms? Does he act like it hurts him?

i dont know wut it is but it could be spasms to his muscle.. i am trained to medically help dogs... but i have never seen this.. you should bring your dog to the vets and see what they say from there
