I've tried pills, punishment, changing dogs diet, etc. It all fails! This has been taking place the past 7 months in my home. The dog is 9 months old now also. It seems like this is his favorite thing in the world. He will even go to the bathroom in his cage, just so he can eat it. He'd take poo over a can of food any day! Not to mention who wants to keep an animal in their house who has poo breath! I feel like this dog is bringing unwanted germs into my home, as well as his whole habbit is just plain sick! Is there any answer for this? Quickly running out of patience! Am I going to have to give him away?...

I had my cavalier king charles spaniel spayed when she was 6 months old, as recommended by the vets. When I took her to be groomed the groomer said her coat was wispy due to being spayed and it wont improve. Now she's pointed it out Im wondering if there is anything I can do to get her coat in better condition?

My puppy sometimes drags his but on the floor as if he's trying to wipe it clean. My father-in-law says that it is because he has worms. Is that true?

When ever I try to pick him up for the night and take him up to my room he would always run to my brothers side. I try to get him back but he shows his teeth and growls. He had even bitten me a couple of times and his teeth are sharp. He's a yorkie-poo. And about 1. I just wish I knew where I went wrong when I was raising him. Sometimes he's mean and some time he's nice. Even though he's mean I still love him very much. And I flick him on the nose but that would work and sometimes it would just make him more mad. I don't want to put him asleep because he's a really sewwt dog and I love him way to much. I just want him to come to me and love me :( .

He was neglected, wild stray I adopted. He will challenge pit bulls and the dog training advice doesn't help. He is good with people and responds to reward training.

Out of all the family owned pets, horses, snakes, rodents, cats, dogs, birds, etc. Wouldn't it be something if they too were put to sleep for aggressive behavior? I mean, what happens when a parrot bites your finger and it is nearly taken off? Or when a rat nips your hand, and draws some blood? How about a boa or python that struggles to take down a domestic cat, dog, or even a child? A cat whom scratches at a child for pulling on it's tail? A horse whom trampled or kicked someone?

And then there are dogs, mans best friend, bred for loyalty, devotion, companionship, friendlyness, family guardians, and the love we've been searching for in human friendship, but cease to get, why are they so hurridly blamed for the ignorance of people, why should they suffer their owners stupidity? Why can't it be recognized?

I have a year and a half old puggle (pug/beagle). He is very smart and well behaved, however recently he has started to have accidents again. Once he was housebroken he would have them. But for over 6 months he has not. Also it only happens want we are home. If my husband goes to mow the lawn or workout he has an accident in the living room. If I go to check my e-mail or do laundry upstairs it happens. He doesn't bark to go out. It's like he gets mad at us for being home and not paying attention to him and pees on the rug. He also will chew a pillow on the couch in the same situation. We are thinking of putting him back in the crate when we are home but not with him. We can be gone at work all day and nothing will happen then that evening he will have an accident. He had 3 yesterday because I was home from work and cleaning the house. Any ideas?

How do you feel about letting a dog sleep in the bed? My fiance and I recently started letting our 7 month old GSD sleep in our bed with us and our cat. We have a king sized bed, so there's plenty of room, but do you think this is unwise? Anyone know of potential behavioral problems from letting your dog sleep with you?
He was crate trained, so before this he slept in his crate every night. He still sleeps there (by choice) occasionally and for naps during the day.

I have a pitbull that I bought from a breeder with a good reputation. I took him to obediance school and researched every thing I could to train him well, I thought he was so sweet! Ealier today I was walking him and he saw this kid and just freaked out, I have no clue why! The kid was just walking and never even looked at me or the dog, my pit totally flipped out and yanked the leash out of my hand, before I knew it he was all over the kid :(. It took me and another guy all we had to pull him off, now the kid is in the hospital and the cops just called and said they are coming to get my dog. What should I do, I never though my dog would go from jekyll to Hyde just like that especially since I spent so much time training him :(

He has his head sticking out of the the window, wearing glasses/goggles. His ears are sticking straight up and he looks like he is looking up at the sky or trees. Can you think of a funny caption for the photo?

Yesterday, my dog was scratching at something on the floor and sniffing it. I went over and it was the BIGGEST tick I had ever seen in my life. I guess it had fallen off of one of my dogs :(. I don't understand how though, I pet them, bathe them, rub them continuously. Anyways, the dog that was sniffing the tick-her mouth was drooling like crazy. It was just pouring out of her mouth everywhere she walked. So bad, someone could've slipped. So I was wondering if this was caused from the tick coming out of her mouth?

Some people have told me yes, some say no so, I thought I'd try here. Nothing comes up when I look it up.
