well, if you've had him vet checked and you are not comfortable with the favorable diagnosis you should get a second opinion. You might also look up some boxer breeders in your area and take a look at their dogs, how they are put together and how they walk. see how your dog compares. not sure about the boxer breed but we have a dog who is very loose hipped(as we call it) and sways when he walks...no problems. it's just the way he is.

Don't worry yourself about it. I have three dogs and they all walk different. My Pit sways like a runway model. My little Rattie prances. My Beagle just plods along like a milk cow.
I would start to worry if he starts to look stiff and has trouble getting up or laying down.

If he has a disease the tests should have shown it. My lab walks this way all the time...she looks sorta like she's sauntering. Older dogs and certain breeds can be prone to hip displaysia...i'm not sure if boxers are or not though. Call and talk to your vet if nothing else, let him know that you are concerned, he may have suggestions.

...That's just how some breeds of dogs walk, sorry to say but you wasted a lot of money on tests just to find out that he's walking like a normal dog would.

If the vet did tests and said nothing was found don't worry, if you trust you vet. If you don't trust the vet take the boxer to another one for a "second opinion". Enjoy your baby and try not to fret so much!!

I have never seen a Boxer that didn't walk this way. Picture, in your mind's eye, a teenager strutting along trying to appear "cool"....it will make you smile next time you see your new "baby" walk.
