The Frontline is working just fine, however as long as there are fleas in the enviornment...house, yard, car, etc...fleas will still get on your dog regardless of product used. You need to treat the yard and keep your house and car well vaccumned.

I would suggest that you try a couple of things. First is an all natural product that has worked wonderfully for many people I know. http://www.purelypets.com/cgi-local/shop.pl/SID=999845991/page=fleaterm.htm
Second is consider a change in food. If you food list more then 2 grains in the first 5 ingredients you may be attracting fleas to your dog. I know it sounds crazy... but honestly we feed a raw diet with no grains and no veggies and our dogs no longer have flea issues or ticks either. The food we feed has no preservatives and I believe that what you put into your dog determines the amount of problems you have on all levels whether it be skin issues, smelly dog issues, digestive upset, or a problem with fleas and ticks.
So feed a better food, use an all natural flea terminator and I believe your problems will be solved. I have seen numerous postings on this site and many others that Frontline is not working on their dogs. You do have to keep the environment treated/cleaned as well but for the money you pay for Frontline and the fact that you are dousing your pet with a chemical every 3 weeks... seems to me it should be working better. When it comes to problems like this I always say .. It starts with food!

Frontline usually works very well, but there are some rules to follow. Make sure all pets are protected. Do not wash off the product after applying and make sure you treat your house and yard. It is not a good idea to wash your pet often. Once a month is plenty. Make sure you use a mild shampoo and the important thing to remember is use a little shampoo and a lot of water to rinse. Be sure to protect the eyes, nose and ears. I usually use a wash cloth for the head area.
Too much bathing is not good for pets. Good Luck
ps. If fleas are the only problem, try switching to Advantage.

Dane Lover is absolutely correct here. It is not the Frontline. The Frontline is working, you have to get rid of the fleas in the environment. Do you have cats? Treat them as well. Do you have fleas in the home? Treat your home.

Frontline is strong stuff and really works for my dog. If your dog still has fleas after using it, my guess is that there's a re- infestation problem. Maybe you need to get your house flea-bombed.

flea collars work very well than those.. it's better than the flea and tick powder. and it's good for 3-4 months.. that's what i place on my cocker spaniel..
or you can also try ivomectin or any other injectible anti-flea plus deworming medicines... inquire about it at your vet.. it should help..
