Basically I have a puppy that is now almost 5 months, not fully potty trained and I know she cant stay out overnight or alone by herself yet, but i want to know at what age will this be able to happen or does it all depend on the type of dog?

My sons dog had seven puppies. I have taken care of them since they were born. He insists that he is going to take them to the pound on Friday because we have not found homes for them. I am very distressed. They are part hunting dog and chocalate lab. It was an accident because she got out and mated before he caught her. I need your advice. we all know what will be their fate at the pound. What can I do. It makes me very sad I love these sweet little ones. Please help.

Yesterday my enlgish bulldog took a very bad tumble down the stairs, she is only 4 months old. Took her to the vet last night and she stayed the night there. She has a very bad fracture and I'm not sure what to do now because we dont have 2K-3K to fix it. Last but not least, there's nothing within 3 hours from where I live. What are my possible outcomes if I leave it in this splint. Only an oral surgen can fix her, not a typical ordinary vet.

I have a pitbull whom had puppies last September. We had to bottle feed them because her milk is bad and she ends up infected. So she didnt get to feed them and we had to keep her away from them so her milk would dry up. Now that I am 7months pregnant she has begun to lactate again and she hasnt been exposed to be pregnant. Is this because of me?

i let her out about 11pm and then she still wants to go out twice through the night. I feed her in the morning. I do leave her water as she is on dry food so i dont really want to take it off her. If i just ignore her she will go to the toilet in the house. Im a reck at work because of lack of sleep....any ideas?

I have tried the green grass and nutra vet suppliments to stop this, but nothing seems to work. Don't want to put anything in this water just in case the cat drinks from the bowl. Any suggestions?

me personally i think if anyone should be punished its the owners of the dog not the dog ive had a couple pitbulls and never once did they bite or even snap at anyone it was around people all the time and was trained so i think the people that make the dogs mean should be punished like the drug dealers that make the dogs (usually pitbulls) mean in order to protect there house and drugs from cops mainly so my question is whats your opinion about pitbulls

Some professionals say it is perfectly natural to let your dog sniff around them while you are walking them and it does not diminish your pack leader status. Others claim that by letting them sniff is reliqueshing some pack leader status and you need to be in total control in every aspect on the walks. In your opinions, which is correct?

I have had my puppy since he was 2 months and and recently he has learned how to jump on my bed and couch. Dachshunds should not jump due to their backs and serious injuries so I was wondering how to get him to stop. I have a doggy ramp for him to go up but he completely ignores this. I tell him no if I catch him doing it but I'm not sure if it's getting through his little head. After all he is a puppy and very energetic. I'm just trying to prevent future injuries and train him no on the jumping now. Any suggestions are welcome!

I have had him almost 2 weeks and he has been doing OK until today. He would not eat his dog food this morning and while I was holding him, his tummy was rumbling so I let him outside to see if he needed to use the bathroom and instead of using it, he started eating grass and leaves.

My chihuahua is pregnant and expected to have females. They will also probably be short-haired and light brownish and I am keeping them all. She is so upset and keeps getting angry at her mate. What should I do and has anyone got any good names?
