I have been told he is part pit but i am very doubtful i think he is mixed with some kind of terrier however i was informed that the breeder had 2 small dogs i dont know what he is but i really wanna find out

Please do not misunderstand, Pure breed dogs are cool too.
I owned a Poodle a few years ago, when she went into heat she dug a hole in my yard while i was at work and got pregnant, a few weeks later we had little mutts of all colors!! So we gave a few away but i decided to keep one little female. Today i no longer have her mother but i'm so glad to have kept one from the litter she is the sweetest dog i have EVER owned, she never gets sick, is extremely smart and hugs you like a real person would hug! Her name is Lacy, and she has the most charming personallity. I love her to death... Who else absolutly LOVES their little mutts? Please tell me the things you love about him/her and what type of mix you have. Just for fun.

Here's a pic of my pup. The vet says he's a lhasa apso / terrier mix (based on his personality). I don't know much about terriers, so I was wondering if anyone who does can "see the terrier in him" and let me know what he might be mixed with. Just for fun.

He weighs 20 lbs. and is about 17 inches from floor to shoulder blades, assuming I'm measuring right. His hair is longer now, and it's coarse and wavy.

I have a 7 month female Chihuahua and I am planning on getting another one that is male. I am thinking about breeding them when they get older, not to sell, but to keep for myself and to give to my other family members. Besides over population and knowing the genetics of the 2 animals, what are the pros and cons of breeding them? How hard is it and what is the general cost? I have found books on breeding but not specific to Chihuahuas. Any help would be appreciated.

I know it is natural for puppies to nip at each other. But our puppy is beginning to nip at our kids and myself. I don't want him to think it's okay to bite, and I certainly don't want it to escalate into real biting.

we just bought a puppy and the other dog we have attacked it and bit him bad. he has a cut almsot all the way down to the bone on the bridge of his nose. i dont have the money to take him to the vet at this time. not till next pay day!! should i keep it cleaned out and what with?? i used liquid bandaid on it to close it up??? help i am worried about my puppy

i got new beagle adult dog from a rescue, she used to lived outside the house. now that i got her i want her to stay at home with us, now during night time i want to place her inside the kennel but she keeps on barking all night, she wants to be with me all time and petting her, but sleeping time we have to part, she must sleep inside the kennel but seem she dont want, keep barking all night what shall i do please help me...please..

I have a 8 week old puppy that a friend found. After I took it to the vet and she got her shots and I was told she was in great health, I decided to keep her. We have named her Chloe and love her a whole bunch, but I have no idea what breed she is. I think she is Shih-zu and Poodle, but am not sure. I know I will never truly know her breed but does anyone wanna try and help? I can email you some pictures. I don't know how to put one on here. No matter what we love her and don't care what she is!

i have a new 5 y/o beagle taken from rescue, i threw the ball the first time we did it and she took it and brought back to me, and as a reward a gave her treat for the good job. but on the second throw she dont mind but instead looking at my hand and sniff and licked. i sense that she knew this game before with me, but how can i put her action to what she did like the first time, i tried to hide my hands but still didnt work. please advise me, i want to play with her a lot but i got frusrated a bit. tnx God bless you.

My chihuahua barks at most strangers, mostly males, and even some males she has met before a few times even when they come in the house and sit down and relax. There does not seem to be any real reason for it, she will even let the same people come up to her and stroke her if I am holding her in my arms and she will wag her tail when they do stroke her as she likes it. She is 2 and a half years old now and I really want to solve this problem, any ideas?
