If your dog was born wild it is a natural reaction to be aggressive or attack through fear another unknown animal or person because it thinks it has to protect itself. There is also "alpha dog" syndrome where the animals will fight to establish dominance. If your dog has not been exposed to other animals / people agression can be a natural reaction. You can try socialization with the animals (supervised of course) but there are instances where two animals just will not get along. Also if your dog was born "in the wild" as you say the agression could be a result of bad or "backyard" breeding. Certain people who breed animals have no clue what they are doing and by crossing bloodlines and breeding whichever animals they may have available deteriorate bloodlines (if there were any to start with) and can in turn deplete the good genes real breeders breed for such as temperment, drive, even looks. Your dog could be a result of bad breeding either done by people or two animals that just "hooked up" outside. In any case you should definitely have this dog checked by a qualified vet to make sure something else is not going on. Also be very careful that you have already taken her to the vet - it's about parvo season and that is a disease your other dog could catch and die from. If she hasn't been around for more than 5 days or so she could have been exposed to parvo, distemper or rabies. (I say five days because if she was she should be showing symptoms within that time of aquiring the disease.) If you haven't taken the dog to the vet you need to do asap.

You should call in an expert on this one. For the sake of both dogs. I'm sure the attack wasn't out of the blue, you just missed the warning signs. A behaviourist will help you understand pack dynamics which will play a big part, especially in the life of the dog born in the wild.

In the meantime, keep the dogs separate and muzzle whenever they are together, that way, you can ensure no one gets hurt Muzzle both dogs, not just the offender because an unfair advantage for one, may create another fight.

If they do fight, do not get inbetween them. To separate them, throw a blanket over the dogs, or dump a bottle of water over them and they will break apart.

I had almost that exact same problem a few years back. We seperated the dogs the best we could and built a fence in part of our yard so that if one dog was outside, the other would have to be in the fence. Other than that, maybe even if its hard, you should consider giving away one of your dogs to a good home. It would be a lot easier on you..

Your puppy is really 2 weeks old? I have 4 week old puppies and I'm pretty sure they can't do too much damage. I don't think they could even completely walk by then.

Can you rephrase that please? I don't see anyway a two week old pup would be attacking your dog, and why you would have a two week old pup in the first place.
