Nothing we've tried has worked so far. He doesn't like toys... We give him bones to keep him busy.. different types... but he insists on going in the bathroom (where he knows he's not allowed) and getting things out of the trash can in there and dragging it everywhere.. and our laundry and shoes are everywhere when we get home... We don't know what to do! We are probably going to end up putting him in a crate when we're gone (he used to be fine, though! he didn't used to be this bad!) but we'd like other suggestions...

Thanks for your time:-)

I have a puppy he is a Pitbull and Chocolate Lab mix very cute and now for the most part healthy . The only problem is he snorts not all the time but for a majority he does . When i got him we took him to the vet because he was very sick . He has a indention on top of his nose which seams to push over an pertrude on the side of his nose as if he was hit with something very hard and broke his nose . It dident look normal to me . If you move parts of his nose you feel and hear the cartilage pop which ive never seen before. So when i asked the Vet about it she said it was normal . But she dident really take a good look at his nose she was more worried about the big ulcer in his mouth she went on to say after his meds and stuff he would breath normal . But after it was all said and done he still snorts. Ive use humidifiers , steamed him while i was in the shower , use the nose blug things they use for babies ( sorry i dont know the name of it ). I did everything i could think of and STILL snorting . several people have looked at him and say the same thing that his nose has been broken . He doesent seem to be in any discomfort from it but im going to get a second opinion . My question is if it has been broken and has healed can it be fixed or would it have to be rebroken and placed back in the right place ? I would take pictures its just hard to see on film you have to feel it and see in person .

I have a Rat Terrier that's almost a year old and I noticed that his "nuts,"....how do I explain this? It kind of looks like there is something else in there with them...like there the two that are supposed to be there, but when you look at my dog from the back there is a extra round ball looking thing. It doesn't hurt him, but I'm not sure if it's normal accurance that can happen? He's going to the vet this week, any ideas on what it could be????

I have two 9 month old greater swiss mountain dogs, who would be great at pulling heavy weights and/or running thru agility courses, but I can't seem to get started. I live in the Providence, RI area.

Our 8 month old pug is limping and favouring her right back leg. She was fine yesterday and we noticed she was doing it after waking up from a nap last night. She is still doing it this morning and today. When she goes to sit, she doesn't sit on her feet as usual but tucks her one leg under her and lays down. We tried to call our vet but they aren't open today and said to call back tomorrow. Is there anything I can do to keep her comfortable? Any idea what it could be? Nothing seems broken and we clipped her nails thinking it was that.. nothing in her paw either. very strange.

For example: If somebody said a Bullmastiff is not for an inexperienced dog owner, what exactly do they mean? Somebody who has never been around dogs? Somebody who has only owned small dogs? What?

I have a 4 month old Maltese. She is starting to run off when I take her outside. I have a fenced yrad, but I like to take my dogs in other areas of my yard with me. My lab has always stayed by my side and I would like my puppy to do the same. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could get her to want to stay with me?

Is it okay to feed oatmeal with his food? I also give him fresh fruit and veggies, EVOO, flax seed and wheat bran. I will get an egg about twice a week. He is an eight month old boxer. He is growing so fast I want to make sure he has enough healthy ingredients/natura as possible.

I understand the school of thought that if you are running away from the dog that will only keep him chasing but what about the fact that he's already chasing you so standing still would be stupid cause HE'S ALREADY COMING AFTER YOU?!?!?
right?

I have 2 dogs that I love to have but they always dig and get out the yard and the boy dog is always barking and chasing people but never bites. After a while my dad got some chains and tied them up. The dogs still dig up their little patches where their spots are at. It isn't so very dirty in their areas but my dad still complains about stinking. Both my parents can be old fashioned and think of the dog food as costing to much so now they want to get rid of them. Do you think they will give them away?

My 8 year old staffordshire bull terrier was given an x-ray and they found she has spondylosis . I've read up on it but am a bit confused as they all say different things like one says have surgery , others say don't . I know its progressive and she's not meant to exercise too much but my 1 year old french bulldog won't leave her alone and the two of them are running about like a pair of nutters ! Does the exercise bring it on quicker ? Is climbing the stairs really bad for her ? Help I don't know what to do for the best
