Depends on the brand of food. You need to get Puppy food because the nutrients they require at a young age are in the puppy food. The quantity is on the dog food bag. Labs are great! I have a chocolate one that is now 1 1/2 years old.

You can feed according to the dog food bag, but that also depends on his daily activity. I have seen owners who go by the bag exactly, and their dog is extremely overweight. Please adjust accordingly like for example, he gets 2 cups a day do 1 1\2. You don't want to cut back to much though as he will be looking for more. Get him some puppy treats too that match the brand you re using. One or Two during the day and before he goes to bed should be good. A good way to see how he is weighwise is to view him as he is running. If you can see his ribs, but not count them then he is OK. View him from the top of the body and feel for his hip bones also which should be able to be felt but not seen. Also I recommend putting some wet canned food (also get the brand youre using) mixed in once a week like on weekends. Most likely you'll be doing something with him like say the dog park, extra outings\walking him a lot. And he could use the extra energy.

Most breeders, trainers and vets will tell you to free feed. That means that you fill the bowl in the morning and let them go at it whenever they want. The average puppy will nibble several times a day and that's OK because puppies use the calories to grow, not just to play.
There are some things that you should watch for however. If he gorges himself, that's empties the bowl in one sitting, almost to the point of gagging, then take it away and set several meal times. To do this, you use the daily requirement listing on the side of your package and separate it into the necessary number of feedings.
If puppy growls or snaps at you or any other person or animal in the house while eating, again, take it away and go back to the several meals per day regimen.
Other than that, if he's hungry, feed him. He needs the calories, his body is working hard at becoming an adult.

first of all he should eat puppy food and the food should be healthy on the bag it will tell you what is in the food.it should eat at least 3or4 times a day but it kinda depends on the size of the bowl small bowl 4 times medium 3 large same as medium but if you also change the food alot it could give the dog diarea but if the dog does not like that certian type of food then you cange other wise don't.Also the dog will change its apitite as it gets older then you will go up a number but dont change the amount in less you have to

Depends on the food.. If you put down a couple of cups and he eats it all up quickly and looks around for more, give him another 1/2 cup or so. Feed him twice a day at very least, 3 times a day is better still if possible.

I would say about 1 3/4 - 4 1/4 cups of food per day for a dog that will end up anywhere around 100 lbs. that will go up a cup about every 3 months... Hope it helped.

It depends on how much he weights. Check the side of the dog food package and it'll tell you

That's something for your vet to determine, but on the back of his bag of food there should be feeding instructions.
